Very busy on a sunny Friday evening. Good quality food, fish had crispy batter and chips were excellent. Everything was cooked to order. We will be back

Rude staff . Poorly prepared greasy sloppy food. Would recommend to no one. Stay away. Owner Manager and I use that word lightly is extremely unpleasant. Horrible place to eat from

I did not enjoy the food or my experience at this place. Small portions and high prices. This was not good value for money and we have been loyal customers every year, but not again.

We've tried a few times during the spring and double checked their opening times to no avail. They don't answer the phone either. Sad really as it looks a nice place to stop and have lunch.

Not welcomed at all very rude such a shame as ordered 2 lots of fish and chips and a fish cake cake to £25 what a rip off . Wasn’t even cod it was Jake or pollock . Dirty inside the fryers not been deep cleaned for years

Average at best however the attitude of staff is shocking. It’s obvious they have a monopoly, they were so rude! We were advised by another customer not to bother as their food “ wasn’t great” and the service was so poor. There were others talking about the rude service too. Like I say, they have the monopoly!

Can’t comment on the food, been sat waiting for 35min for a portion of fish and chips and two bags of chips. Absolute joke levels of service. Even if good it is really terrible service and would not return as two starving children in the car shouldn’t have to wait this long for what should be fast food. Avoid.

First time on a solo holiday with my three dogs I ventured in just for some chips for me and a sausage for the dogs. What a lovely reception, the owner divided up the sausage into perfect, equal portions it's the little details that count. I sat outside with the dogs and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food. Very grateful for the kindness.
