Basil Harbour Cafe - Carte

This small cafe is really lovely. The food, especially the soup, was outstanding and the service was great. It was quite crowded during lunchtime, but fortunately, we didn't have to wait long.

To add to my previous review the owner of Basil's does NOT welcome disabled customers I'm going to report him both myself and friend were turned away using the excuse we spent too long and spent too little

We enjoyed some coffee and cakes at this restaurant. The coffee was excellent and the cakes were delicious. The staff were happy, friendly, and helpful. It was the perfect way to end a nice walk around the harbor and beach.

Really good little cafe, serving sandwiches, hot meals, cakes, teas, coffees and soft drinks, small and cosy directly opposite the harbour, limited outdoor seating 3 small tables each having 2 chairs, staff were friendly enough and prices reasonable.

A nice little cafe. Wasn't many places open on a Sunday so we were pleased when we found this cafe. Stopped in for a late breakfast and we were glad we did. Simple food, but very nice.(I am very fond of Larne sausage!! Staff all very busy but always smiling. Voir le carte

Here on Fri 7th Jul just after opening time got just what we needed a good hearty breakfast and they did amend the menu items to suit my preferences. Bacon with eggs and mushrooms fantastic! I was also lucky enough to taste the smoked salmon my wife had superb! Toilet was small but very clean. Well worth the visit!

Never seen a place so mean with Chips as this cafe. 16 Chips, with a Smallish Taste free Burger on a Basic bun with some leaves a halved cherry tomato and a teaspoon worth of a shop bought coleslaw £10.50 An absolute rip off And when I ordered another portion of Chips the lassie looked shocked!! With 2 Mochas and 2 of these Basil Burgers we were £32 Never again

While searching for a place to have lunch, we stumbled upon Basil Harbour Cafe. We enjoyed a delicious fish finger sandwich and a generous serving of chips on the side. The food was served quickly and was very tasty. The cafe is located by the harbor and we highly recommend it as a dining spot. We also discovered some artwork by local artists for sale while eating our lunch and ended up purchasing a lovely painting of a stag on the hillside, which the staff kindly wrapped up for us.
