"I used this caffe, most of the sundays for one. nice clean caffe / takeaway with friendly service a good selection of traditional English breakfasts to your bag and appetit smashing Sunday roasting, bark meat or pork lunch recommended, good quality meat served with fresh vegetables (no frozen or skillful mum), plus a good yorkshire pud. on weekdays the menu is even more extensive. I have always been satisfied with eating and friendly staff good value for money. more about barneys as I mentioned earlier, it is very clean, it is also well lit and warm. It has a selection of children's meals available and baby seats so family-friendly. it has own toilets that are also clean and tidy. the layout is a standard table and chairs set up, the chairs are movable so that a buggy or wheelchair can easily be accommodated when required. there are some parking on the road and more space in the neighboring side streets, also on a large bus route. it's just cash here. it also has a 5 food hygiene assessment. food review dezember 2018. I still come here regularly, today had my usual traditional Sunday renown here, still good quality eating and service to affordable trips. I recommend this place gladly. food review januar 2020. I had again today my usual traditional bratbeefed here, a good size of the tasty soft roasted bark, accompanied by a selection of fresh vegetables a roasted kartoffel and, of course, a homemade Yorkshire doll, everything perfectly cooked and presented. there was a small price increase recently, I paid £6.90 for my meal and a cup tee, still good price-performance ratio in view of the overall quality of eating, and table service. they have also introduced free wlan and an online order and delivery service. update dezember 2021. as with most others, there has been a price increase lately, the price for a roast chicken, pork or beef lunch and a cup tee is now £8.20"

I've often wondered if a takeaway full English was possible, well it is. Barneys done a hell of a job. The best full English i can remember.

My sister and I, went for a small breakfast £3 each, it finished up £9.10 what a joke. When I asked about the cost, I was told it was the price of two drinks and a portion of tomatoes.

Me and my hubby often pop in for a meal. The meals are pretty good, homemade food and good sized portions. The place is always clean and tidy and the staff are always friendly. Keep up the good work girls!

Been in here a couple of times for a full English, easily one of the best breakfasts in the area. Always receive a friendly greeting when you walk in the door, and service is always fast. Very reasonable prices too.

My kids ordered lasagne. At £5.95 we really expected for it to be a little bit of a bigger portion or accompanied by some chips/ garlic bread. It was delicious but got finished off in 2 minutes whilst I looked on rather enviously, sitting in front of a huge pile of fish fingers and chips. Needless to say I didn't get much of my own lunch after the vultures descended to polish off my whole plate. Simple place, nice food. Great manager/ boss man. Just opened so I've given 4 stars. I hope to give 5 next time.

My daughter introduced me to Barneys Café saying that it was the best place for miles around and was right! Nothing flash, just a smart, tidy, clean and organised café pleasant, friendly staff and really good breakfast! There are a range of breakfasts to suit all appetites, the eggs and mushrooms are fresh, proper, good quality bacon and sausages and beautiful black pudding all cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable too. Service is quick and the food is cooked in view of the customers if you stand up! We didn't try them but noticed that they do home made pies, various other meals such as Chili, Bolognese and baked potatoes as well as a huge selection of filled rolls all at reasonab...
