Barna - Menu

Very nice place! We feel like we are home! We are pleasured to meet the fantastic family who work there! We had dinner and all is perfect! The site, the furniture, workers! Well done!! We will come back for sure!!

The place is cute, nice team, good environment... but the lack dishes in the menu is disappointing. Plate of charcuterie for €16,50, cheese for €16,50 is not really worth it. Beer… one type… wine, not a wide variety, but the price was ok. Good atmosphere… staff sympathetic.

Have been here for a numerous times and enjoy my stay always. Gemma's doing an amazing job keeping some pieces of the rich culture of Spain in this little enclave in Munich. Original jambon and only freshly imported Spanish products make you feel like dining behind Gaudi's installations in Barcelona.

If you close your eyes while and let Jamon iberico to melt slowly in your mouth, your mind will be instantly transported to Barcelona. Here an authentic place in Munich where you can find real food from Spanish culinary tradition. Just wonderful. Had an very good time at Barna and can only recommend It. You will be surprise about desserts too ! Try the chocolate olive and salt one ;)

I in particular recommend the Spanish ham plate and the fish balls. We ordered a serious of tapas and none of them was disappointing ! very delicious, a positive surprise !Also the wine list is attractive.What I really appreciate that the restaurant is reasonably priced - given the quality level of the food.Service is excellent and very friendly.The restaurant is well located, but the interiors are not really appealing - even though there is nothing obvious to critisize ..

My wife, son and I went to Barna today to have some ham and sweets. Got to know the owner, Gemma, who is a total sweetheart! She's from Barcelona (hence the name of the Bar) and knows Catalan food inside and out. We had some ham on bread, which was very authentic in its taste (Pata Negra) and the size of the dish was exactly right. Prices are fair as well. All in all a great place to experience authentic Catalan cuisine. Love it and will make this my new go to Tapas / Spanish place.

We really enjoyed our visit at Barna. It is a new Spanish concept focused on the Iberian ham. The products are from the best quality. One can tell everything is hand-picked, even the olives or the lila chips. The wine selection is also very good. Specially to recommend is the pa amb tomàquet with the Iberian ham, the goat cheese salad and coca with sobrasada. Special dessert is bread with dark chocolate, olive oil and sea salt, also worth the try! Price-value is really good. We are definetely going back soon!

We were a super international group of Americans, Germans, Spanisch and Italians wanting Spanish tapas in Munich. Through TripAdvisor we found this place and were very pleased! The tapas were great, the restaurant was filled with Spanisch guests and the waitress was super welcoming and alert. There are no main dishes, only tapas. The ham and cheese are great! But everything was with bread, no vegetables except tomato. It didn't give the impression of having a big variety of tapas but the ones they had were delicious. Very cool restaurant and bar!

The tapas bar is a new-entry in Munich, as it opened not so long ago. Hence, what I write here now could change in the near future ;-)The place. The location itself is not particularly great, as the Auenstrasse there is often very busy, so that the few outside tables do not seem to be particularly appealing. Inside it's indeed much nicer, space between tables is quite big so tha you don't need to fight for place with your neighbours. The style, I would call it "hand-made modern", with very modern appliances and ideas that seem to be (are?) mounted by non-professionals, which actually gives it (at least for me) a quit positive and welcoming touch, despite the dry and cold first impression.
