The restaurant is run by a trained Indian chef (named Bahadur) who has experience from several top restaurants in Delhi. And the food they serve here clearly shows that. Really tasty and authentic food.

I was here for dinner, the restaurant is small, but beautifully decorated with Indian thema restaurant staff are very polite and helpful .. eating was good, we started to eat here for almost 5 nights. price is moderate ., service was good. atmosphere is typical Indian. it was a good place to have a good dinner in berlin.

I like a good curry. You could say I am a connoisseur. I am convinced that the most important thing, is the mix of spices and flavours complexity and balance. Bahadur has this nailed the food is great from poppadums with curry...dust and vegetables, to rich curries bursting with interesting flavours, to proper naan bread, made in a tandoor. Berlin is a wasteland for Indian food, but after many years of despair I saw the glowing review on berlinlovesyou.com, had my Indian friends take a critical look at the menu and pictures, and gathered a crowd to make an in-person assessment. And behold, we...came away more than impressed, including the native Indian colleague who joined. The food was authentic Punjabi, truly excellent, diverse in tastes and textures, much unlike the usual fare in Indian restaurants in Germany. Will definitely come back!

My partner (that sounds more grown up than girlfriend) and I ate here on New Years Day. I had read good things about this place and it was all true. The food was fresh, original and the menu is large! There's just too much too...choose from! The place is a very different to your usual Berlin Indian restaurant it's a little more trendy but in a good way. The staff are really friendly, the food exquisite, the deserts were a great way to cool down the pallet and the Mango Lassi was on of the thickest I have ever tasted. I even liked the complimentary Indian Whisky I was given after the meal! The Samosas were some of the best I have ever had (lovely salty pastry)! I'll be coming back to Bahadur!

We had heard that Berlin finally had a decent Indian restaurant but it is so much more that! The restaurant is tastefully decorated and very clean. The staff were excellent, polite and helpful regarding the menu with advice when asked. Languages spoken were German, English...and Punjabi with menus in German and English. The restaurant was much quieter than it deserved to be because this isn't your typical Berlin style or U.K. style Indian restaurant and you won't find tikka chicken masala or the other usual suspects on the menu.
