A truly delicious evening with exceptional service. The me u has a terrific mix of local and traditional options as well as some classics. The wine list is also a great combination of optik s from Israel and Italy. The staff are friendly and highly multi-lingual. I took a person to discover the ghetto of Venice and, amidst the indecision of where to let her taste the Venetian aperitif or Spritz, I unfortunately chose this place. I never imagined paying €20 for two normal Spritz drinks. The price of the drink was not displayed outside the restaurant and then looking at the menu, the price of this drink which you usually pay two if not three times less is clearly disproportionate to the rest of the dishes that are served. 1 Spritz for €10 can be paid either in Milan or in a 5 star hotel. I was very disappointed and will not return.

We ate outside in the twinkly lights, which was very nice (also for the mosquitoes). Our server was very kind but the maitre d' (some accent, maybe French) was snooty and dismissive. It took a while to get the food out. First, we got the fried zucchini, and it was frankly very cold. It also lacked salt. Then we had what was described as spaghetti with beef tartare and truffle. There were maybe two pieces of truffle and honestly it tasted like mushroom and a teeny weeny bit of beef bits sprinkled on top. The spaghetti itself was tasty but this felt like false advertising.
