"a few days ago my family and I had dinner in breath. that was the second time that we had dined in their restaurant. Last time we came to Germany before covid, we were really happy with our entire order, including the starter. we really enjoyed the salads we got for the appetizers. Unfortunately, this time we have two salad dishes as appetizers, which were made with some artificial dressing on them. when it comes to typical Greek salads, they never expect some with artificial salat dressing made from mayonnaise, I also ordered an salat with huh as main course and that salat also had a lot of dressing on it natural, the dressing was artificial and it was made by mayonnaise also my family members were with their dressing not so happy. I can give them five stars when it comes to cleanliness and service, but the quality of their food has gone down. we expect delicious Greek salads when we go into a Greek restaurant, but not only regular salads with a lot of artificial salad dress on them. The town of Waldeck has not much to offer, but this restaurant Athen is worth to visit when you are looking for a good and price valued meal. My wife and I have been invited by two local friends. The atmosphere on this Tuesday evening...was very gemütlich'. The service is pleasant and accurate. The restaurant owner is strongly involved with his customers. The food is delicious grilled. The meat is of perfect quality. And the Tzarziki is irresistable. As a dessert the best choice is Greek yoghurt with honey and wallnuts. Perfect. Mains are slightly more expensive than the traditional German schnitzel, but you got much more value with potatoes or riche and a some nice vegetables.
