"We had reserved a table for four people in the garden on a Saturday evening for 6:30 p.m. and were able to deliver our orders for food and drinks at a time. Five minutes later, the service employee, an older gentleman came back to the table and asked for repetition, as he could no longer read his own writing. We then had to remember the replacement for a broken water glass four or five times. When we then emptied our drinks after 45 minutes and wanted to order more, this was not possible at first, as he missed his cash code. This was certainly also the reason that guests at the side table were waiting for their bill for 20 minutes. We were able to order again a little later and when we asked for a good one hour of waiting for the stay of our food, we were asked what we had ordered and received the information that these orders were already passed on. After a further 30 minutes he came to the table with a pork roast, which no one had ordered here, but then brought the two ordered goulash, five minutes after that the pork noodles and came another five minutes later with the notice that there is unfortunately no more table tip, and what we wanted instead. After a waiting period of about one and a half hours, we naturally refused this interpretation. When he conjured a tabletop on the table ten minutes later, the measure was finally full. It is understandable that after two hours of waiting we had passed any appetite. The attempt to talk to a responsible person (chief, managing director, or anyone else) was again difficult, as the boss allegedly wanted to leave today and was no longer there. We received the required bill of € 113.50 immediately and paid it – for the first time in our lives, however, without a penny or Cent tip. When we got up, we were told that the boss was there. There she stood (even not on holiday before the food edition and expressed her deepest regret and compassion: “I am very sorry. I can only apologize.” No offer as to how to make up or mitigate the whole thing, or the like. Not even in such cases “an espresso or a schnapps?” came over her lips. We certainly never come back to this place because we will not subsidize such a groundless and annoying dilettantism of service and management with our good money."

Visited here last month and honestly couldn’t fault it! The new owners have brought a new lease of life into the place and the food is really delicious, we had the short rib and schnitzel. Staff were all very pleasant and the place is definitely family friendly. Lovely outdoor seating too. Easiest to come with the u-bahn, as it’s only a short walk away (thalkirchen). Der Steirische Rindfleischsalat war wirklich ausgezeichnet und sein Geld wert. Was aber speziell in München gar nicht passieren darf: das Augustiner Helle kam mit völlig zusammengefallenen Schaum und natürlich zehn Millimeter unter dem Eichstrich. Der Bedienung (Hilfskraft nur zum Speisen und Getränketragen) war das zwar bewusst und er sagte, das sei so weil er viele Gläser auf dem Tablett hatte aber zugleich, dass das ok sei. Ohne meine Antwort abzuwarten war er wieder weg.
