"beautiful looking. good menu. we ordered baked feta (very nice) and a Greek salate. the cocktail tomatoes in the salad were mouldy! when she pointed to the waitress, she apologized and we got a new salat with bigger tomatoes. reason for the given form was that the cook is half blind. why there were first splashy tomatoes? lamb cuts for the main were delicious, but I found a small piece of plastic in my teller! when the waitress was apologetic and after the review with the kitchen we were told that it was a fish scale (in the lamb dish)? at least we would have expected that the salat is offered by the bill and a free coffee. but no search thing. we will try another restaurant next time."

What a great location to start with a large outside terrace overlooking the river. Super good value food served and presented professionally.

This beautiful water front restaurant was good service! The food was delicious and definitely would recommend, was a little pricey for the quantity we received.

Very nice gyros and souvlaki. The tzatziki was very convincing. Service.... Hmm okayish But surprisingly quality, and the prices were totally fine. Surprising because of some reviewers. Very very nice for a nice spring summer dinner or lunch with friends

We came here after our hotel told us about this greek restaurant by the waterfront in Hannover Altstadt. We found a fantastic greek place with a quality, ambience and service you rarely find, either in Greece or in Sweden (our home country). And very swift...service too.

this place is classic and yet modern with an excellent ambiente and a wonderful menu. very few employees are always a plus, because we often find that the service efficiency is higher, which it was certainly here. definitiw a hidden gem near water and. the Christmas market in hannoveraltstadt. perfect.

this restaurant was recommended by our hotel. normal for the new year was the place packed. we have a table right at the bathroom entrance, which was absolutely terrible. Behind us was the kitchen. they offered a 3-4 coarse menu. on the paper it sounded really great, but that was it. for 49-59€ it was very bad. I would say not worth more than €25-30.

Hands down the best place we know in Hanover. We go there often. The food is great and the terrace is ace. Obviously people are marking it down to keep it a secret but it should have 4+ points, no question about it. Try the...kalamaris they are great and perhaps a glass of rose wine? Absolutely fabulous!!! The hummus and the tarama are probably the best starters you can ask for. And the waiters are nice as well and that is not a given in Germany. You see, we like it a lot. But please keep a table free for us!!!

"In my opinion, the top of the Italian restaurants in Hanover. Location and contact: Roy's restaurant is a bit hidden in the eastern city between Hamburger Allee and Eilenriede. Kitchen is available on Tuesday to Saturday until ~22:00, so a later visit at 21:00 is still possible. Unfortunately, you cannot take dogs, which is understandable in local size. Food: Great! As it belongs to Italian raised cuisine, the ingredients are excellent. The card is clearly kept small, but wide enough that there is something for every taste. But that's only half the rent. What Roy's is for me about Tesoro, Castello, Leonardo (also all worth a visit: etc.) is the extraordinary attention to detail, both in presentation and taste. The flavor combinations are partly simple, partly refined, but always at least with everything I have tried there so far and a true joy for the palate. You taste and see the love of the individual dishes Ambience: Roy's restaurant is small and cozy, with a modern flair and personal decoration. The small restaurant impresses with warm Ambient Lighting and from lasy to excitedly graceful background music. Service: The service also fits the atmosphere. We were received with cordiality and humour, and were supplied with extraordinarily good care. Conclusion: A real gem of Italians and, in my opinion, also after many visits, one of the best places in the city, just like the best Italian in Hanover. 5/5*, top class."
