We had a wonderful dinner at this charming local restaurant that offers fantastic fresh, homemade cuisine. The menu appears to be influenced by Italian flavors, featuring a variety of fresh pasta dishes. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was delightful. I visited this restaurant twice during a long weekend in Fowey. The first visit was just for dessert and a glass of wine since we already had dinner plans. I had the most amazing cheesecake! While we were there, we learned that they offer Sunday lunch every other week, so we made a reservation. The roast beef was incredibly tender, and all the sides—pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, and Yorkshire puddings—were simply delicious! I highly recommend this place, and I hope they continue serving Sunday lunch when we return next year! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We enjoyed a lovely Friday lunch at Appleton's with our two young children. The service from the waitress was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was a delight, the buffalo mozzarella starter and the cod and pea risotto main were beautifully presented and very tasty. The panna cotta dessert was devine. The £25 main and dessert lunch menu is very reasonable considering the quality of this restaurant. We'll be sure to go back when we're next in Fowey. Vegetarian options: The waitress was very knowledgeable about which items were vegetarian. Kid-friendliness: Well equipped with good quality and clean high chairs.
