"My boyfriend and I went to dinner for my birthday. the location is surrounded by greenery, a real small castle, very romantic with all those lit candles. service I would say perfect, friendly and attentive to every customer, but without being heavy. to start, appetizer of delicious meats (only the cup was a little too salty as far as I am concerned,) stew of beef with truffle at will (good and delicate) and all accompanied by half liter of a delicious wine chosen among the numerous present on the list. Sweets are spectacular. reasonable portions for a place like this but still richer than I expected! I will be back"

"La mia recente visita all'Antica Trattoria di Momeliano è stata semplicemente indimenticabile. Immerso nella splendida cornice delle colline piacentine, questo gioiello culinario è il perfetto connubio tra tradizione e qualità. Il personale, caloroso e accogliente, ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa, illustrandoci con passione ogni piatto del menù. Ogni boccone era una scoperta, dall'antipasto al dessert. I tortelli piacentini fatti in casa erano un tripudio di sapori autentici, mentre l'agnello al forno era cotto alla perfezione, tenero e saporito. La carta dei vini è altrettanto impressionante, con una selezione curata di etichette locali che completano magnificamente l'offerta gastronomica. Un'attenzione particolare va data anche all'ambiente: l'atmosfera rustica e accogliente, con dettagli che richiamano la storia e la cultura locale, rendono l'esperienza ancora più speciale. "Local located in the Piacenza countryside. The restaurant is located in a farmhouse and has ample parking. On Sunday lunch the restaurant was full. The starter of cured meats, cheeses and fried dumplings was very good, but we would have expected larger portions. The beef with polenta had a lot of fat. The tiramisu was the best food. "Una rapina folle a mai più rivederci !!! Ci siamo recati per cena in sei persone. Volevamo assaggiare tre primi, ed il cameriere ci ha proposto di fare tre vassoi in tipico stile da osteria da dividerci in autonomia sul tavolo. Pagati 180€ Da aggiungere un antipasto a testa, una bottiglia di vino e 2 birre il tutto per un totale di 300€. Prezzo decisamente troppo alto, non giustificato nemmeno dalla location, locanda vecchia, mancano mezze lampadine sui lampadari, mangi con il terrore che si stacchino le pale del ventilatore a soffitto e con i tavoli sulla strada, per finire con un bagno terribile. Abbiamo chiesto delle spiegazioni, la risposta è che secondo loro ogni pirofila conteneva 6 primi pieni, quindi in teoria erano 3 primi giusti a testa. Posso garantire che non sarei mai riuscita a mangiare 3 primi di pasta a cena dopo l’antipasto. Ps. la location non è assolutamente un problema, io adoro le trattorie, più marce sono e solitamente meglio è , ma al prezzo giusto per una trattoria e non come una cena di pesce in un bel ristorante."

"We booked for 7 for a Sunday at lunch. Upon arrival we order 5 appetizers asking if 2 instead of the meat could have the cheese, after receiving everything except the cheese we ask again, we are told that it is out menu, we order it however again....mai arrived... We then order a first bis (on the menu there were 4 first ones), tortelli and ravioli, after a while they tell us that the ravioli are finished, in their place we ask the pi would, after we arrive at the table a bit of tortelli, a little more would and a little ravioli. The tortelli were cold and hard, ravioli very much joined. We order therefore (the portions are not abundant) roasted potatoes and 2 portions of lamb chops, after which the waitress returns to tell us that the ribs are finished...May of potatoes were raw. Instead of still wine came sparkling, at first instead of 3 bottles of water arrived 2. I think that Sunday at lunch you should not stay without the dishes of the menu and the waiters should know what is and what is not there...In the account then we were charged for the first bis as 14 portions, but the amount eaten were certainly not two dishes... seen that then we ordered second and sweet... Really a bad experience considering the excellent quality of the farms of the area...I hope for them that it was only a day no, but we will not come back for sure."
