nice pub. the beer could be colder, but the atmosphere was nice and the bathroom with flowing is cool. a few large TV screens for the sport.

Friendly service from this off the beaten track pub. Very nice Brazilian food which makes a pleasant change from the normal standard pub food

A brilliant find out the the Red Hat Ladies, came across this gem . Dean the barman was welcoming and polite , excellent food and atmosphere , we met some of the locals and had a fantastic time, certainly worth a visit.

food was decent but no staff were wearing masks which is illegal.. one staff was coughing around while serving food which was absolutely disgusting…. I felt feeling sick while eating my food and had to leave in a hurry. Note to manager: get your staff...

We came in last night for the steak special, which was good! Medium rare, well seasoned, sat next to the regulars and had a lovely pink gin and lemonade. Talked local stuff, it was great! We became locals! Tonight we had The Pie, I had the roast beef, husband had the chicken. It was delicious, eat The Pie! It’s a house special on Wednesday, and worth the walk around Richmond. Tomorrow they have live music, so we feel obligated to eat elsewhere.

Really not very good. At least try to smile and acknowledge people when they walk through the door, even if you don't mean it! Is it really that hard? Especially when the pub is more or less empty (I wonder why? I know what's happening on your mobile phones is probably more interesting than your work place, but presumably you are being paid to greet and serve customers? If not, then talk to your boss. Come on guys, this isn't rocket science a warm welcome goes a long way, believe me. Staff training and motivation urgently required.

Wow! Just found the completely revived Angel and Crown, and what a brilliant evening! An absolute gem in the heart of Richmond hidden off the high street. Fabulous food, brilliant atmosphere and a fantastic set from The Double Buffs. From their first song the place was rocking. Hats off to Hannah and her wonderful team, just the best gang that you’ll find in any pub in Richmond and all of them absolutely right on it. Lived here for 23 years and for me the best pub atmosphere I’ve seen in a local pub for a very, very long time! For sure our new local! Thanks Hannah.

A really poor experience here on Sunday 30th January. Myself and my girlfriend went in for an early evening drink, a pint of beer and a Aperol Spritz. Back at the table my girlfriend said to me that her Aperol Spritz didn 't taste right, was very weak tasting overwhelmingly of soda so she went back up to the bar to ask for a splash more Aperol only to be met by a rude female bartender who said that it was a 'standard ' 25mm measure and that we would have to pay over £4... £4.25 if I remember rightly, which we refused to do. Finished our drinks and left. We went to the Orange Tree hotel/pub nearer to Richmond station to be met by a far friendlier welcome and I enquired with the manager there...
