"We went for getting good fish dinner at this restaurant. The restaurant was empty. Tables were covered with grey paper, not very stylish way. We waited quite long before we got fresh fish recommendations. Lady asked us drink, we wanted to taste house wine, because no other wines by glasses. It was ok. The service was quite strange. One guy came to this restaurant and was not very professionally dressed. Perhaps one of the owner. He failed down one marquis too almost to my head. After that he started to clean one table surrounding with cleaning tools and chemical smell spread all over while people were starting to eat. Then he stopped and moved to kitchen. It was difficult to know who does what. The staff was very badly organized and the entire staff atmosphere was tensed among workers. We ordered pulpo Galicia as started to be shared. And sole fish for mains. One fish per each. Pulpo came after about 20 min. It was almost ok. Then we got only one Fisk to be shared. The waitress said that they can make another, but we didn’t want to wait. The fish was good. The entire feeling was like eating somewhere in the railway station low level bar. I said to my wife that let me order check and let’s leave here. We didn’t drink entire wine glass empty. Then waitress brought the payment me achine but it was not contacting to the wifi and I was not able to pay by credit card. I paid by cash. This was not a dinner experience, but more than having snack at railway station. As other commented the service was chaotic. Not the place we go second time, sorry."

Ya nos hemos alojado en el Amura en el puerto de Estepona. Ahora está en la Urb. El Pilar. La comida, el chef y el ambiente son maravillosos.

Increíbles las zamburiñas de Estepona y los berberechos así como el calamar. Tampoco perderse los increíbles postres y aún mejor el servicio del propietario, trato muy amable y cercano. Sensacional. Un restaurante encantador con un personal servicial y acogedor, con una calidad de comida perfecta. Los calamares estaban deliciosos y sabían frescos. El plato Dorada estaba bien hecho y sabía muy bien. Hacen postres increíbles: ¡la crema brûlée es deliciosa! Hemos estado aquí ayer y hoy, y volveremos : El ambiente es bueno. El personal/gerente es extremadamente servicial y atento y cuida a los clientes. ¡Una de las mejores experiencias en la Costa del Sol! 5 estrellas de 5 por servicio y comida.

Have been here a lot over the last few years and the food is lovely and the service has been really good to date but this time it fell down. We only had two courses but were sat for 2 hours waiting for the whole package. Part of it might of been due to a shortage of chefs as everyone seemed to be waiting, but also it looked like the owner had to make sure he took all the orders so you had to wait until he was ready. Was also strange as for some of the main order it didn’t come with anything so you had to order fries etc. Food was really good but we would think twice coming back as lots of other lovely restaurants in the port area.
