The service is fantastic. A real art form with so many guests. The restaurant is popular with locals and tourists alike.

We had to wait a little for a table because we didn't book. The service was amazing and so was the food and the beer. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!!

Great restaurant, it's a bit expensive but the perfect, friendly service and the cool ambience make up for it. We were also warmly welcomed with our dogs and the dogs were given extra water even though the restaurant was completely full.

A small brewery right by the bear’s pit which is a tourist attraction. In warmer periods, there are bears wandering around in there. The burger was nice and tasty but a bit dry, accompanied with fries. The beer variety is small but locally produced which makes it authentic.

Ate here twice during a weeks visit. Had the farmers roshti and the pork knuckle (schweinehaxe). Both dishes were excellent. Drank the marzen beer and the east block pilsner, also both exceptional. Atmosphere is beer garden, with views overlooking the old town. Staff was great, no problem speaking english and service was prompt and friendly. I would make this a must for anybody visiting. Honestly a bit disappointed. I had the beef burger, which was pretty average and bland. The fries were fast food style. The mayo was watery. Also the “chocolate cake with liquid core” didn’t have a liquid core and I wasn’t a fan of the ice cream. Nothing terrible, but for the price you’d expect a bit more. I really liked the beer though and service was very nice and patient. Mayonnaise 1/5.

Reviews have been fairly varied for this restaurant, but I had a wonderful experience. We went here for an early dinner and it was busy but had a great waitress who was able to understand my request and made note of the need to be gluten free. I had one of the rosti options without the egg and absolutely loved my meal. Not sure on the beverage options (appeared to be only beer), but my meal was great. I have celiac and was not affected.

This restaurant seemed promising based on the website and the discussion with the host, but the waiter was clueless. There is actually no gluten-free menu, just a list of allergens in each meal. There were 3 items on the menu that were labeled as possible to make gluten free, 2 were salads. I ordered one of the salads to be gluten free and was given a bowl of lettuce. Just lettuce! Perhaps a better waiter could have navigated the situation, but even with native German speakers at the table with us, our results were terrible. Voir le carte
