"A great experience, especially if you know the restaurant about 50 years ago. Uncanny changes have taken place. The pub atmosphere is gone. The restaurant character has succeeded. The food offered yesterday was the asparagus buffet. A very good selection of dishes also makes hunger quite small for those who do not eat asparagus. The quality and speed of the service is very good. It is great what the Kamp family built with their employees there after the devastating fire about 2 years ago. Das Alte Gasthaus Kamp in Meppen verfügt über einen Restaurantbereich und ebenfalls einen Veranstaltungsbereich. Letztgenannter bietet Platz für mehrere hundert Personen - ich schätze 500 - 600 Menschen finden hier Platz. Somit eignet sich der Saal für größere private Feiern oder auch Firmenveranstaltungen.Wir waren bereits mehrmals im Alten Gasthaus Kamp zu Besuch. Service und Essen waren stets gut, hier gibt es nichts zu meckern. Das Ambiente, gerade im Saal, ist allerdings nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß. Hier täte eine Renovierung mal ganz gut.
