"my plan was to take my breakfast here. I looked at the side of the place and I am in love with the concept and design. So I went 40 minutes to walk there because it wasn't close to my hostals and the weather was perfect to make a personal walk. I ordered a "stulle with mountain cheese," a macchiato, a lemon village with wild fruits and the best orange juice I've been drinking for years. the other dining options looked so provocative and I think also delicious. I wanted to try out everything they offer, but yes, I just like one and pay a few other things!I love the decoration, the atmosphere and the girl who cares for me. However, I find it a bit expensive for the portions, but I understand that we are talking about organic food and more natural resources. how many places they have no :("

Place looks nice and is good for lunch breakfast. Staffs friendliness is soso. The food is OK, sometimes a little boring though. Overall value is OK.

I had a delightful dinner at Alpenkantine. It's a cute place I sat outside, I can't remember if they had heat lamps. But it's a nice enough street to... Voir le carte

the service is really bad, no English menu and no help from the unfriendly waitress. this is the second chance that I gave this place, and the last that eat is not so great.

had sworn the deaf. the food was very delicious. the price is not justified and quite exaggerated when considering the ingredients and also the preparation. with delivery, this was over 20 €.

unfortunately, eating felt completely unselected, the late zle have only tasted fat and not after cheese, the carving was twitty and also through, the shrub not fluffy. for the prices that are not worth ordering. Voir le carte

eating was okay, even if a rosmarin branch had fallen under the cheeses. the delivery was quick. a packaging was damaged, however, so that the content driped out below. also missing a dessert; was probably forgotten.

this is a canteen-like local next to a rather large road with wooden furniture to sit in and out. in a hip part of town you can't notice the road. eating is a combination of vegan and biological and brings some Bavarian elements to hamburg. I loved eating. we had a carving and burger and maul bags (ravioli.) it has tasted very well. beautiful salad. the desert was also very nice a selection of cakes, sprinkles and waffeln. the food is displayed for selection. I had a very nice vegan chai - not too sweet. there is self-service, but the staff is very polite and helpful. I didn't like their version of knödel (knödel) very much. this hotel can really recommend for eating, service and atmosphere.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
