"Can not recommend enough !!!! Spent an evening at the dining room with some colleagues earlier this week and found the whole experience to be fab!! Excellent food, a great selection of wines and just the best service ever Chloe and Emma were fabulous and really went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing evening. Will definitely go back any time I'm near Derby"

"It was great food. There was one stocky bald guy who was a really good waiter. He was working his socks off. Then other staff were not so good. Chatting with friends at the bar while our large party needed drinks. A couple of the kitchen staff wandering about with a poor attitude, looking like they didn't want to be there. Should be happy to work there. It's a brilliant pub and they have a nice atmosphere to work in. I have high standards when I go for a meal. It's a rare treat for people. I don't want to see staff acting like they're doing you a favour by being there. On a side note you can see food staff on their phones touching work surfaces when the kitchen doors open. I would say that's quite unhygienic for food preparation. If I see staff using phones etc who prepare food it makes me worry about hygiene. It's like when I went in McDonald's and saw staff constantly touching their face. I've not been back since. Was 5 years ago. I might be wrong they might be cleaning their hands straight after. Just telling you what I saw and how you might be able to do a bit better. Appreciate good staff are in short supply at the moment."

"my first visit to mumbai chilli, despite my life in the opposite. I wasn't disappointed. great food, friendly attentive service and cheap prices. the Tandoori cellar starter was the star of the show. the best I had anywhere. lamb vindaloo pleasantly hot, but tasty and the meat was so tender. 10 times better than the so-called fine Indian restaurants in the opposite more than the traditional curry house we all loved years ago. I can't wait to return."

"I went to Brownie Points a week or two ago and I cannot praise the place enough. The atmosphere is great, everything is clean and bright, the staff are friendly and attentive (but not pestering) but best of all, is, of course, the produce! I had a slice of the salted caramel brownie cake. I did not think the cake had been made which could defeat me, but the portion was so generous I had to ask for a doggy bag! I wish my health and bank account allowed me to go there every day, and I can't wait to go back again to try all the different variations. Also great to see an independent business doing well in Derby keep it up guys!"

"Me and my friends all come here ever wednesday after school for a study session and a chit chat and grab a coffee! The atmosphere here is something so peaceful and comfortable with its great lighting, music and decorations really make it a special vibe. It’s very hygienic there’s not a spot of dirt insights- bathrooms are always clean. Aswell as it’s state of cleanliness, the smell is really nice with its light up candles. The staff are so sweet and polite and are amazing at their jobs at making us feel welcome! Aswell as that the food and drinks here on the menu are so good and are always top notch- always nice and fresh! I rate it 5/5 because i’ve been to other places before, that have never had such a good quality food and had a great experience! I come here because it’s a comfort place for me and my friends and we never doubt our choices coming here because it’s so great- one of the best places in Derby."
