Absolutely loved this little restaurant. Run by a couple with 20 years experience from Singapore. They serve Italian food with an Asian touch and it is really great. Situated right next to the Anfiteatro.

We had a fantastic meal. All 6 of us had the 3 course menu of starter and 2 mains (40€ wine. A couple of things were unavailable but we were offered alternatives which were beautiful. The food is fresh, tasty and different to other restaurants. It’s a special treat in the streets of Lucca.

We were expecting great food after reading all the reviews. Our starters were good but the mains were very disappointing. I had fish which was raw in places. My husband had the beef which lacked flavour and was quite tough. We didn’t bother with desert. Had much nicer food in other restaurants in Lucca

We visited in July ‘23 as a couple and had tasting menu paired with excellent local white wine. It included 3 very generous courses of Italian food with Asian influence. Superb and cooked to perfection. Octopus not to be missed! And grappa to finish was just cherry on top. Good value too and service was impecable! Don’t miss this gem!

Italian chef with international experiences that also transfers in his fish cuisine, cute local, service entrusted to his wife of Russian origin. all pleasant but without some dish that makes you say wow. a serious error in an ordered dish that was served with ingredients other than those indicated in the menu without warning before. Overall I was hoping for a better overall experience but I can't say I ate badly. You should spend Euros in two with an entry level wine

Saturday I went to this place for the first time right behind the amphitheatre square, invited by friends. the owner welcomed us from the door with kindness accompanying us to the table. serene and refined atmosphere, with an international allure, likely reflex of the long stay in singapore of the owners. Card menu or degotation menu; excellent and varied wine cellar. refined dishes with unusual and exotic matchings, in which the high quality of raw materials is enhanced by the new avant-gardes on the subject of cooking. dishes treated in detail. experience I will repeat soon. recommended

We were so looking forward to our first visit to this restaurant after all the positive reviews. However, be aware that with the 2 or 3 course set menu there is no choice or flexibility. The owner tells you the set menu for the evening. If you don’t like it you have to choose from the a La carte menu which works out expensive. Those in our party who had the set menu (tuna, squid pasta and sea bass) enjoyed it but others did not have such a good experience with the beef. Also, the owner was too quick to remove our plates; we had to tell him that my daughter had not finished her meal which he prematurely cleared away. Also, be aware the air con is not that powerful if you like a cool atmospher...
