"Ristorantino proprio sul mare, abbiamo potuto mangiare fuori, personale molto carino e gentile, menu cn poca scelta ma ci può stare, fritto misto passabile, x mio gusto troppi gamberetti, gambero rosso nn mi hanno fatto impazzire, su 5 gamberi uno era proprio cattivo, ottima la tagliata di tonno cn rucola e pomodorini, prezzo onesto"

"Una piacevole scoperta Trascorro le vacanze a Praia da che ne ho memoria, l 'hotel Garden è sempre stato un riferimento, ma la nuova veste data al ristorante ha attirato la nostra attenzione! Siamo stati omaggiati di un entree di benvenuto: una polpetta di mare con pastella e salsa di soia, veramente molto buona. Abbiamo scelto di iniziare con una tartare di tonno e poi proseguire con un primo a testa, risotto con gambero rosso crudo e i fusilloni tiepidi con tartare di tonno; terminato poi con un dolce, niente a che vedere con i classici dolci da 'ristorante ', una cura e un accostamento di sapori davvero eccezionale. Unica critica che posso muovere riguarda un gesto fatto: eravamo in due seduti al tavolo e la carta dei vini è stata data 'all 'uomo ' seduto con me, stessa situazione si è replicata nel momento dell 'assaggio del vino, che è stato versato, senza chiedere chi assaggiasse, direttamente 'all 'uomo '. Queste situazioni, nel 2022 e tra l 'altro in un posto così bello e così attento, mi hanno un po ' amareggiata."

"We stayed for dinner at this typical Calabrian rosticceria on 5 September. All sublime. . starting from the sympathy, kindness and generosity of the owners, wife and husband who with genuine education have delighted us with the typical dishes of Calabrian cuisine... goodness after goodness.. mixed frying (arancini, eggplant meats, pumpkin flowers, croques', laundry), two portions of peas and sausage, stewed vegetables, two portions of lemon scaloppines with potatoes, meat meatballs, meat cuts and cheeses, maze, cola and water, limoncello all orange, coffee... !"

"If you are around this lovely part of italy, do not miss to go eat dinner at il Vecchio Frantoio . Especially if you are an international tourist and you really want to discover the goodies of the region! It is the restaurant associated with the hotel Pian delle Vigne. While I will not talk about the hotel as I have not stayed there myself, I have nothing but compliments to give the restaurant. Location: it is a bit out of town, on top of the hill... overviewing the whole bay (Policastro Gulf . The vista is just breath taking.... and you dine among flowers and fruit trees in a very warm and romantic ambience. Staff: very agreable and charming, they will do all they can to make you feel at home! One great addition, the maitre d 'hotel speaks fluently english, french and german (which is quite something in Italy . He also knows the region like his pocket and can guide you or advice you to where to go and what to do. The food: well let me separate it in two categories as the restaurant is also pizzeria. I would encourage everyone not to take the pizza, not because they 're not good, but because the other specialties are just too AMAZING to pass on. For both restaurant and pizzeria, the ingredients are chosen fresh from the morning, the selection of cheese and vegetables is incredible... and the seafood is just WOW! Pizzeria: It is the absolute real napolitan pizza, which has a very thin crust and is a bit soggy by definition. I personally am not a fan of the napolitan pizza but that 's just personal taste. But even at that, I tried it there and I have to say the ingredients are just so so fresh, the pizza has an incredible smell that makes your mouth water!! Restaurant: It 's specialties from the region... and the cook is fantastic. Have seafood while you 're there... it 's the best... it 's coming right from the sea across and it 's so fresh... Don 't hesitate to each take something different and then try a bit of everything. It is well worth it. There is also a great selection of wine and the owner knows a lot about it and can advice you. The prices are very very decent, not at all expensive considering the amount and the quality of the food. The restaurant also has a big big room which makes it also ideal for receptions, banquets etc... The owner tries to promote his region (and he is very right to want to do so! and so he can make you taste all the local dishes and wines and liquors and cheese and everything. For going to this region since I am a child for vacation and for having tested about any restaurant around, I can promise you... go there you won 't regret it."
