the dishes were certainly excellent, refined dishes but not too far from tradition. very professional staff. the place is very beautiful, suggestive at sunset looking at the valley of the temples. I don't feel like putting more stars because in 2022 the guest menus (or blind menu) are still served to their partners.

The Akropolis has impeccable service and well presented food. I had the tasting menu, and my only complaint was that it was a bit heavy on swordfish the night we went. Execution of dishes was great, but in hindsight I wish that I did a l carte. Great wine suggestions, which seemed to be the norm everywhere we went in Sicily. Again, I’ll mention that the management was really on top of service the night we went, which stood out.

Our family of 10 was traveling through to visit the Valley of the Temples, and just picked this restaurant solely based on location and opening hours (many places were closed for lunch). Wow did we luck out! Gorgeous views of the valley, informed and attentive service, wonderfully creative menu, and of most importance: the food was fantastic! Honestly, it was a little more in terms of quality, atmosphere, and price than we had been looking for, but it turned out to be a lovely oasis before braving the heat of a Sicilian afternoon looking at Greek ruins. And to those of you who are Downton Abbey fans, our waiter reminded us of Mr. Carson not in age or looks, but it was clear he is someone who... Voir le carte
