"Every time I happen to cross one of the gates that delimit the walls of Finalborgo, I have the clear sensation of crossing a groove of time, almost as if a sudden race backwards completed a lap on the carousel of years. It therefore seems obligatory for me to go in search of some inn that hides the secrets of the Ligurian culinary tradition, that makes typical local dishes its reason for existing. This is the case of the Cuattru Canti , a hole in the true sense of the word, a room in which 10 people sit elbow to elbow, reading on a blackboard vaguely in the style of an elementary school, what the convent passes . From the appetizer to the desserts, a kaleidoscope of colors explodes, as intense as the flavors of the vegetables, the farinata, the generous first courses, the sublime foci. Intense, but balanced, untouched by the usual forcing to capture some rough palate. A healthy practice would be to draw chalk lines on the specialties tasted on the blackboard, so as to try the entire possible assortment. It would take time and frequent visits, which I intend to do, since Liguria shows no signs of disappearing and so does Finalborgo. Until next time."

the place is characteristic, set in the medieval setting of Finalborgo.. the staff very kind and helpful. the dishes cooked at the moment and with care. a special encomy for pore flour and salt cakes that are part of the mixed appetizer.

Really excellent restaurant located in Finalborgo. The location is small but very intimate and typical. Excellent quality food. We tried the house mixed starter which I recommend. Fantastic desserts: ricotta and fig tart and caramel mousse to try! I would happily return. Voir le carte

Today, last day with son, daughter and grandchildren have lunch in this small trattoria already attended positively in the past. From the menu of the day to the board we choose their mixed appetizers with savoury cakes, frittatines, peppers with anchovy, flour, spicy tomino...diacreto... but I would have done without. among the first we choose cutters to the sauce of totano. ..discreet, ravioli with artichokes and lamb. . . appreciated, trenettes to the pesto... very good. in the second I would perhaps have liked the rabbit to the ligure or the cuttlefish but already satiated I have in pain I left. good sweets with a tart of apples and cream pastry with black cherry and caramel.
