Whenever I come to Venice it is my favorite place to have some cicchetti and Aperol. The atmosphere is very good both inside in winter and in summer that terrace invites you to stay all afternoon. Very friendly staff. Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Bar Cicchetteria in Campo San Barnaba, where you always return willingly for the kindness of the service, the meat, fish and vegetarian meatballs, the excellent sandwiches and the classic spritzes. Good value for money and good choice of wines. The spaces are not large like in 95% of Venetian bars. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Small bar located right next to the Church of San Barnaba in the field of the same name. Very friendly and helpful staff, but the service is decidedly slow. Prices in Venice standards and average quality. I would probably go back but maybe not! Watch out for seagulls if you eat at the outdoor tables!
