"Went again last Monday. We tend to go around twice a month and it is really the only restaurant I go to. Tripadvisor only allows reviews at 3-month intervals or I would write more. The food remains consistently outstanding. I like spicy food and almost always have the same things. Chicken Pakhete to start followed by Chicken Namche or Chicken/Lamb Dhede Khursani with Lasooni (garlic)bread. Service is efficient and friendly. I think a recent bad review relates to another establishment with a similar name. This place is faultless."

"I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and I was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The price range per person is between £10–20, which I found to be very reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. "Hats off to the management and staff of Cantinetta for truly earning this one-star review from me. It was a team effort that I felt deserved recognition. We had guests from out of town and it was up to us to pick a restaurant that showcased the best of Crosby (according to Google reviews). We were a party of 10 who had reserved a table for Saturday evening with plenty of time to prepare and even pre-order if needed. Upon arrival, we were seated and given the drink menu. Unfortunately, the staff took 40 minutes before taking our drink orders, despite reminders. They seemed to make excuses rather than fulfill their duties. We should have probably left at that point, but we stayed. The food that was eventually served was inedible, particularly the Bruschettas which were popular choices for starters. There were delays in serving the main dishes as well, with some younger guests jokingly starting to eat the table. Thankfully, the main meals were of decent quality once served, but the service lacked any apologies or acknowledgment of our dissatisfaction. When we spoke to the manager about our experience, he seemed indifferent. This lack of care or apologies for a subpar experience on their part is the reason for this one-star review. "Welcoming as always. We started with a Turkish Delight cocktail, which was divine. We had a selection of delicious starters including deep fried eggs in Tamarind. Wonderful! We moved onto Chicken Panang and Sweet and Sour prawn. Food all beautifully spiced and not too hot for us. Great service, food and overall hospitality. Thank you"

"Had a lovely evening at the workshop tonight. Staff very friendly the owner was lovely came over to our table to explain the dishes and went above and beyond.
