We’ve been going since it opened. Today they excelled themselves. A fabulous starter of scallops on an asparagus cream with crispy bacon and two excellent pasta dishes. And great service. Grazie mille amici Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Dining in for dinner, the price per person ranges from £30 to £40. The food, service, and atmosphere are all rated a perfect 5. There is plenty of parking available.

Been past quite a few times, but finally visited for a Saturday evening meal. Staff were fantastic, but the food was absolutely on another level. Amazing!!! And I used to run an Italian restaurant kitchen in Bath in the 90s. This is our new go to, when we can't get to Rome. Well done all. Good quality fresh Italian food. with a professional and friendly service. Atmosphere was relaxed with some buddah bar type lounge music. The only reason atmosphere is 3 stars is because we ate early , at 3pm as we were headed out later. Next time we'll go for an evening experience. Reasonably priced .... under £70 for bread and olives, 1 round of drinks , 2 starters and 2 good mains . I did not have a great experience at this restaurant. The prawn risotto had only 4 prawns and was dry and flavorless. It would have been better with some herbs for garnish. I had to wait over 45 minutes between my starter and main course. Despite it being an Italian restaurant, there was no Italian music playing in the background. The staff were friendly, but I would not choose to dine here again. Overall, the service and food were rated as a 2 out of 5, while the atmosphere was a 3 out of 5. The price per person for dinner was between £30-40.

Hats off to the management and staff of Cantinetta for truly earning this one-star review from me. It was a team effort that I felt deserved recognition. We had guests from out of town and it was up to us to pick a restaurant that showcased the best of Crosby (according to Google reviews). We were a party of 10 who had reserved a table for Saturday evening with plenty of time to prepare and even pre-order if needed. Upon arrival, we were seated and given the drink menu. Unfortunately, the staff took 40 minutes before taking our drink orders, despite reminders. They seemed to make excuses rather than fulfill their duties.
