What a find this was! We were passing on our way back from the local CO-OP store and spotted this unremarkable building which is a very good place to eat. There's a warm welcome, tasty food and a glass of wine for only £3.50. Well done to the couple who run it. Booking a table on a Saturday is recommended, they have a lot of regular customers. The town is picturesque and there's plenty of scenic walks and places to visit. Service: Dine in

Extremely good food and lovely people however the service was really bad. The staff consisted of one girl and a 10 year old boy who was serving everything including alcohol. They were lovely people and it was lovely food but it really doesn't make for a great night when you are waiting so long to be served and then nearly 2 hours for your food. The restaurant shouldn't be open if they have no staff. Great food but avoid unless you have plenty of time. A shame.

What a gem! My partner and I walked in on Friday night. We clearly saw the cash only sign and it was not a problem. We had a superb meal and the naan breads, freshly cooked, were exceptional. The lovely lady serving us explained that everything is cooked from scratch and you could tell. Authentic flavours and delicious. We had a very enjoyable meal, loved the fact that it was a family run and traditional Indian. Some of the reviews left are very unkind and unnecessary in my view. Thank you for a great meal. Food here was Ok, tried the special king prawn masala, it was underwhelming, small prawns not king prawns, sauce was ok basically a tikka masala without the bright red food colouring, was a bit thin and yellow looking. The onion bhajis were kind of flat and slightly undercooked in the middle. Not too bad but not great. Naan was nice. The place smells of damp though instead of curry. And you could see the patches of damp on the walls I don't think I would go again. Service was friendly and the place was busy with quite a long wait for the food. My friend got the biryani, was way too much rice and not enough sauce, but they said it was nice.

I visited on Saturday, September 9th, and as a big curry enthusiast with over 30 years of experience, I can honestly say this was possibly the worst curry I’ve ever had. I ordered the Chicken Pathia and Garlic naan, and the dish was nothing more than a bland red sauce with a few pieces of chicken. The garlic naan had no noticeable garlic flavor at all. The service was terrible, and it took an extremely long time for the food to arrive. Aside from a group of fellow bikers, there were only two other customers in the restaurant all evening. I also have to mention the restrooms—avoid them at all costs; they were disgusting. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Service: Dine in.

Additionally, your delivery driver was parked outside playing on his iPad, seemingly in no hurry, even after we left to get food from somewhere else and returned. This suggests that takeout orders were definitely not flying out the door. Regarding the claim that I'm a time waster, I recommend checking my other review from yesterday where I detail my experience at your competitor up the road, which included a meal. I apologize for addressing the owner's response here, but the service and atmosphere were genuinely that poor, leading me to lower my score further.
