Nice evening outside spoiled by Chef Pippo; one surprise followed the other one; starters, primi, secondi; tasteful antipasti, homemade pasta's and a variety of fish! and a sorbet afterwards to finish a top diner in Graniti! Grazie Maestro Pippo!

We ate very well and fortunately we didn't get conditioned by negative reviews. A round of homemade appetizers, first, second and sweet and we paid in the norm and food was all of excellent quality. Rustic place, clean and the owners very nice and very friendly. Council

You never forget. We've been in this place for about 20 years and never forget. typical Sicilian cuisine but well made, the simple but rich of good. I recommend it to those who want to stay in the family or among friends sipping a nice glass of red wine while swallowing many delicious flavors.

Words cannot adequately describe the experience of eating at the wonderful restaurant. This place is a must visit for everyone. The food is fantastic and is home cooking at its very best. Chef also makes his own wines. I would go back again and again. The waiting service is provided by chef and his wife and is a total pleasure. This is a well run family children friendly restaurant

Nice location, neat and clean place, and we thought we would really get some authentic sicilian meal a bit off road from the worst touristcrowds. But this beauty was just skin-deep . Offered extras we didn 't ask for and the bill was overall horrifying. The pasta was ok, the fish quite good, but the meat was the worst. But even the best dish was nothing really special compared to what the price suggested. Too pricy for value.

My family and I decided to try this restaurant whilst on a holiday last week (September 2019). I asked for the menu which turned out to be extremely poor in choice. The owner kept insisting on us trying the 'assagini '. Hungry as we were and with little choice we decided to take up the offer which we regretted deeply. We were 6 adults and a boy. One of the adults did not manage to eat anything and the boy had only some pasta. The rest (5 in all) had the assagini (about 10 tiny portions) and some pasta together with one bottle of water and one carafe white wine and 3 limoncellos for which we were charged €225!!

We ended up here after reading the Conde Nast Travel plan for Taormina which advised this place. It was the best decision we could have made! If your looking for typical Italian food, non touristic trap places (Those that you find all over Taormina center), affordable, then this is the place you are looking for. There is no menu, we ended up paying 35€ per person but we drink 2 bears each and had the desert which is not included in the menu prices (25€/person). This menu is basically a tasting menu of Sicilian delights. Everything was fresh, very diversified and very Italian, consisting of multiple appetizers, pasta dish and meat in the end (for the strong ones with a lot of appetite). Then,...

We had a similar experience like some of the reviews said, no menu. But the owner/chef/waiter was very nice and offered us, he will bring us traditional meals to try everyrhing. We decided to accept it and prepred ourselves it might be more expensive. In the end, it was totally worth it! Restaurant has nice view and even though its right next to the road (thankfully, thats why we found it), its not too noisy. Both the owners are very nice and helpful (husband and wife). And the Food was just amazing. Someone wrote it was too expensive. I dont know if they got the same stuff, but i really dont know what do people expect to pay for like 10 course dinner Owner kept bringing us New and New meal...

as soon as we arrived we were greeted by Mr. Giuseppe, owner and chef, who immediately made us feel at home with his genuineness. the places so must please, there is little to do, but if you are lovers of good home food by putting aside the design and appearances, you will be happy. the chef has quickly listed what he could prepare boasting his “assaggini” and the first with fresh pasta. we did not see the menu but talking to the chef we were good or bad able to guide the choice by limiting ourselves to the “assaggini” (because we had previously read online that were many and therefore quite satiating) From our part we enjoyed that the chef specified that he preferred to know the order on ar...
