"The restaurant is very dog friendly with incredibly friendly staff. The building is clean and the food, although a little expensive, is very tasty. The 53 degree burger is especially delicious! The fries and ketchup are reminiscent of those you would find at an all-inclusive hotel overseas, which is definitely a good thing. Our meal, including three non-alcoholic drinks, two burgers with fries, and a plate of goulash with bread, came to a total of £52.50. We didn't leave feeling overly full or unsatisfied, and would definitely consider returning in the future."

Nice place.Good beers obviously but would have liked a few more mid range on my visit. 4.5 to 6%. But what I had was great.Food was good bar grub.

Very recommended if you are looking for a modern pub in Buxton that offers different beers from the usual. They offer a wide choice with various craft IPAs and Stouts.

Visited just before going to see Steeleye Span at the Opera House. Food was very good and reasonably priced but some of the beers on offer I thought were a little expensive. Didn't see the chalkboard outside offering 10% off for people visiting the theatre until after...shame that. Voir le carte

about night in buxton read reviews and immersed for a meal greeted warm and beer and eating very well waited a little for eating to appear, what we gave no question when eating so well tasted plus had the cheese for a selected 3 cheese the best cheese table with the best price when they get a chance to eat here, so they will not be disappointed

Great atmosphere with interesting decor. Lovely food, some of which reminded me of America and Germany--I had the Reuben sandwich (a NYC staple), and it was very tasty. The brisket is tender with great flavour, and I love seeing sauerkraut with so many dishes, as it mixes up the flavours and is quite good for you too! I'll be interested to try some of amazing-sounding beers when I'm no longer pregnant!
