"This is the first time I've left a restaurant within this price range feeling a bit let down and dissapointed. Let me sum up why by breaking it down into food, drinks, service and atmosphere.Food: 230 Euro for the menu on new years eve. All the snack servings were "okay" but nothing too special - some even slightly tasteless. 1 point for the "Truffle Mollete" though! The first dish consisted of a kind of lemon foam with caviar and roses. You of course cannot go wrong with caviar. The second serving, a langostine carpaccio with "thai" ingredients was served with a glass of "consommé" or "bisque" on the side. There was no guidance on how we should consume the dish which left us a bit confused. The consistency was not too nice and the "thai" ingredients did not really shine through. Next up scallops which were cooked to perfection - juicy, tender and with loads of thick sauce and shredded truffles. The 4th dish was a slice of sole which unfortunately was overcooked which was a shame as this is a lovely fish. The main course was wagyu and there was lots of it! The dish seemed a bit one dimensional but there was no doubt the produce was of good quality. The dessert were a gorgonzola sandwich with white truffle and then a chocolate dessert to round everything off. Both desserts were great. Several of the warm dishes seemed like they had sat a while before arriving at our table as the sauce had started to grow skin on the surface. Drink: 69 Euro for the wine pairing of 5 glasses. This was a bargain if you ask me. Great wines throughout with a mix of German and Spanish wines. Shame the wine pairing was not printed on the menu as I would have loved the names of the wines. Service: all staff were friendly at the arrival and we felt welcome. Sadly the major point of critique with our visit was the complete lack of guidance throughout the evening. There was no storytelling behind the dishes or the wines. The dishes were basically presented as they were on the printed menu. When you go to out to a dine at a restaurant in this league you expect an experience and you expect to be able to sense some pride behind the work of the restaurant. At one point an unfinished glass of wine was removed. You don't do this unless the guest asks for it to be removed - and why pour out a good glass of wine anyway?:) The major D (we believe it was) bumped into one of the chairs at our table throwing one of the guests forward - this was recognized but no apology were presented or anything. It was completely ignored. Some of the staff also did not seem knowledgable or skilled enough for a place like this. This is not a point of critique directed at the staff - this is directed at the restaurant. Atmosphere: we sat in a very quiet room with not much happening around us. It would have been nice to have sat in the main dining room or some place with more life around on such a night. It was very quiet. The hotel was lovely and stylish. Very nice interior."

Really cool design hotel that hits a sweet spot between inviting, bourgeois, romantic, and hunting-lodge-y. The only downside and reason for one less star...

I was here with a group of work mates and were served a tasting menu. The service was amazing but the food was really spectacular. A must if you're in the area.

One of the best restaurants I have been to . The food was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. They had a gin there called GUL that I had not seen before; it is well worth a try.

This restaurant was one of the reasons why we chose the hotel Das Stue where Cinco is located. We know about famous Chef Paco Perez and we wanted to try his Experience Menu of 9 courses (7 salty and 2 sweet plates, 2 amouse bouches before) with wine pairing. Exceptional interior, especially the ceiling and the mirrors placed so you can observe the Chefs working on your plate. Best trained staff. The food was so delicious and balanced so that after 9 courses you don`t feel overeaten.

First of all, I did not expect my good friend who would bring me to this hotel - Das Stue !The hotel is a contemporary one and the decoration is outstanding! When I arrived at the restaurant, the centrepiece did draw my attention. Of course, the semi open kitchen was one of the highlight too.I also found that the staff was very helpful and profession. Special thanks to the sommelier as she did recommend a very good Riesling to us. I do look forward to returning this restaurant again in the near future!

While staying in the fabulous Das Stue hotel we dined in 1 Michelin star 5-Cinco by Catalan chef Paco Pérez. The menu is original and portions come in the right size, just enough to discover, not too much too feel 'stuffed'.Service is very fluid and friendly, and waiters are professional without being distant. We took a la carte dishes, some of them which we shared amongst us.We liked the presentation and quality of the food. Some dishes might be considered slightly too inventive, i.e with too incompatible ingredients. The atmosphere in the restaurant - you can see the intriguing busy activity in the kitchen - is trendy, cosy and intimate. Decoration is very original and appropriate. We find it a... Voir le carte

I have dined at many amazing restaurants around the world and I easily rate this as one of the best dining experiences of my life. Dining at this restaurant is a "must do" experience when in Berlin. The restaurant and ambience is gorgeous. The staff are attentive, interested, engaging and knowledgable. The food was spectacular. Incredible combinations of visuals, flavours, temperatures, and textures. I had the degustation with matching wines. I loved not knowing what the next dish would be (I don't eat red meat, however this was easily accommodated by the restaurant). The sommelier added enormously to the experience. She knew so much and was willing to share her extensive knowledge with me. T...

Some people writing here comment about the service quality and the wine pairing - I cannot join that chorus at all (which is good as I really cannot sing!). During my visit, the food was excellent (8 courses plus the usual appetizers and petits fours), each course had an interesting touch to it and I would say that this is the Spanish version of the more Germany-focussed Skykitchen. The lady responsible for the wine pairing was very knowledgeable about the wines she served and if you wanted more than a glass, you could ask for it. But be careful, 8 courses mean more than a bottle of wine at the end of the evening! So I do really not understand those critics who complain about "not enough to...
