"My son and I visited this restaurant on Christmas day. The set menu included three courses and a glass of wine or champagne. Knowing we couldn't eat that much, we decided to skip the starter. Our waiter kindly spoke with the manager, who offered us an extra glass of wine instead. This exceeded our expectations. I ordered the turkey, which was perfectly portioned, tender, and delicious. My son got the steak and claimed it was the best he had ever eaten. The dessert was also excellent. The service was exceptional, and all the staff were very friendly. It was a great find for Christmas day. Congratulations to the team at this restaurant."

This is a great setting in a good location, but it feels like a hotel restaurant (which it is) and it is no surprise that it was empty. I was entertaining a customer too, disappointing.

There was a new chef who made delicious and unusual dishes . The staff were friendly and attentive and it is very handy just around the corner from Liverpool St Station . An excellent find !

On arrival, front of house was absent/uninterested. Ten minutes before anybody came past (it wasn't very busy) and he got me a drink very quickly (thank you). The other server seemed unaware. possibly new. The concept of sharing a risotto (which was excellent) seemed a new thing to her. (It was the perfect size for sharing, as was the chicken Caesar Salad which we shared for a main course. This place, and that food, deserves a better environment and the charming waiter and waitress deserve better training. Shame. David

We received a warm welcome at the restaurant and were promptly seated at a nice table with water. However, despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we had to actively seek out waitstaff to take our orders. The food was well-prepared, although my risotto was a bit too thick for my liking. I found the prices to be on the higher end for a meal that was just average. Overall, the Brasserie is a welcoming spot and conveniently located near Liverpool Station, but the loud music was a drawback for us. We may not choose to dine there again.
