a friend of mine recommended 1530 and brought us to dinner. what an absolute gem of a restaurant, warm welcome, all people were helpful and pleasant. the food was delicious

fantastic. beautiful eating, large service provided by friendly, efficient staff. beautiful atmosphere! even the table water tasted divine! it can only 11/10Wel again to this small piece of heaven on earth establishment. it was nothing less than a taste sensation!

Delightful restaurant, run by very friendly, helpful, and attentive staff serving extremely tasty food in lovely surroundings. The excellent wine list is an added bonus. Made the 90-minute journey to meet friends who travelled equally as far more than worthwhile. John and Liz(Doncaster)

This is a nice cosy restaurant in the centre of the village serving tasty Italian inspired cuisine with a nice drinks menu. Service was friendly and prompt, and a nice touch was a little mini bottle of hand sanitizer on each table. Pictured is the Tumbo stew (seafood) and Gino garlic fries. Would definitely visit again.

only back to home, from an amazing meal. I am gluten-free and the personal was extremely helpful to decide what I could have. nice friendly staff, cozy and comfortable, great atmosphere and great eating. we have already recommended this place to friends and will definitely be back as soon as we can. thanks for a nice evening!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. It is cozy and welcoming, with outstanding staff who are very helpful. The food was incredible, with delicious starters and amazing main courses. The menu offers something for everyone; my husband tried the Sunday dinner and it was superb, especially the bone marrow gravy. I am looking forward to going back and trying more options on the menu.

Before visiting Castleton for the weekend, I read reviews advising to make restaurant reservations ahead of time. After seeing positive reviews and reasonable prices on TripAdvisor, we decided to book a table at 1530. It turned out to be a great choice. We enjoyed everything, from the ambiance of the restaurant to the friendly staff, and most importantly, the delicious food. We have recommended it to our friends and would happily dine there again. I have my eye on the slow-cooked beef dishes served on Sundays. Thank you, 1530, for a wonderful experience.

this is a pretty little restaurant with some covered tables from the back and more in the garden for good weather. I was booked alone and short-term, so I got the last table under the cover, but that wasn't as good as in the main restaurant. the personal is very friendly and responsive. so were the other customers, some of which were clearly regular! it has a really warm and relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the meatball star and a pizza that both were delicious, as dessert. the three courses and a glass of wine came to £34, which is very good for a good quality eating and atmosphere.
