"otherwise known as dirty sixth. if they are drilled with the run of the mill restaurant with the same old oriented, then this is the place to come. it was very refreshing to see a lot of new looking oriented. picture is of three manju steamed bungalows with chocolate anko, macha and salted caramel sauce (sauce not shown on the picture) the rolls were delicious and had a chocolate filling, scattered with a green powder that was probably green tee powder. there was also a hot salted caramel sauce that is not shown in the picture. I could not taste the green tee powder “Matcha” as “macha I think it made the dish look amazing. it was extremely more-ish! my man had yuzu and lemongrass-Merengue-Piee and two of us had a pot of thirsty. my absolute tierhass is a “Scoop” of eis, which is just a “Scrape” or cure. this was an amazing single club that made a very welcome change. it also tasted great. we also had sunday roasters. their specificity is slowly roasted smokey grilled meat. I had the mix of three flesh, oak smoked brisket, slow frying pork bauch with cracker, and smoked shoulder of lamb (shrunk). they must like a smokey taste. everything was cooked. the sweet was served in a teller for four, were not overdue, beautiful soft carrots, but the french beans were hidden under the cauliflower. there were no servier equipment. after we asked that we had a spoon! the bratkartoffeln were excellent, but I miss the picks. huge yorkshire pudding, delicious gravy. it was very busy and we waited for a long time to come to eat what to expect when they book for 13:30. we had a lot to talk so it was okay and we had no starter. I didn't get pictures of the main thing when we all started to swallow quickly when it arrived. we would definitely go back and would especially recommend if they were looking for something else."

"I am writing this on behalf of my wife who went for lunch with a friend today. First of all, they had to ring the pub as it looked closed because the outside lights were not on, despite it being a somewhat dingy and wet day. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. My wife and her friend were impressed with the scope of the menu until being informed that several items were off, no shepherds pie (how ironic) only one gammon steak. Then the decisions with the chef- What is the curry of the day? Balti. What Balti? Oh, chicken. Does that come with rice? Oh, I forgot to do any rice, I can do it with chips. No thanks, my second choice would be the chili, I guess you have no rice for that. No, but I can do cheesy chips. No thanks, I will have sausages and mash. The verdict was that the sausage was nice but the rest was not heated enough leading to gooey mash and sticky gravy. My wife 's friend had the steak and kidney pudding which she liked however she would have preferred mash but got chips. They both felt the other vegetables were unpleasant. Why not complain? Because this is not a cheap menu so, it should be right the first time and sometimes you get weary of the potential for conflict. Neither the first or second choice meal was available because chef forgot to do rice, come on. The previous landlord failed to make any profit from this pub (even before COVID) and the new guy is looking to be heading for the same fate if this is any indication. We had high hopes for the re-opened Shepherd and Flock following the wilderness years between Stephen Hill and the new landlord, but it was a disappointment. For goodness sake stop playing at lets run a pub and start to take it seriously. As we are not local and rarely visit Farnham we will certainly not be returning the Six Bells being a superior alternative."

"I was gifted a camper van rental by my sons for my birthday. I’ve never driven one before, so I didn’t want to venture too far from home on my first trip. After researching all available sites for this weekend, I came across this...place. I brought a friend with me and my two dogs and we were welcomed onto the site and asked if we wanted to be near to the facilities. Very grateful for that! We chatted for a while and he even helped us hook up to the electric. Excellent start to the trip and very kind of R to help us. We sat in the sun for the afternoon and made our way into the pub for dinner later, (with the dogs another reason why I picked this place, as they were also very welcome). I ordered the fish and my friend had a burger. Both meals were very generous and very tasty. H and the other waiters who served us were great and very attentive. We left very satisfied that night. We also ate here on Saturday night and this time I had the salad with chicken. Delicious! I just can’t express the tastiness of their food, enough! Our waitress, A, was very polite and professional and we had a lovely conversation with her at the end of the night. My friend wanted us to have the Sunday roast before we left, so she booked us in and again, wow! She couldn’t decide between the beef and the chicken, so she went for the combo, which had both!! Not for the faint-hearted, I tell you!! What a meal! I chose the nut roast which was the best one I’ve ever eaten. The vegetables that come with it are also very tasty. The Yorkshire’s are nearly as big as the plate and were incredible! I can honestly say, Ive never eaten so many plates of delicious dishes as I did this weekend! We spoke to several of the staff during this weekend and found everyone to be amicable, friendly, hard-working and willing to give good service. I can not fault them. Our stay on camp was enhanced by the young family who were staying across the grass and we had so much hilarity with their small children as they kept asking to see the dogs. They were great. Other campers were very friendly and I enjoyed the camaraderie from them, even if it was just with a good morning wave and hello. I have no hesitation in recommending either the campsite or the pub, or indeed both together, to anyone! I would like to thank every member of staff for the welcome and professionalism we experienced and we will soon be planning for our next visit! Thank you. x"
