"a terrible experience when we recently visited. on several empty tables. we were ignored by two waitresses for a good time before my man asked if we could have one table for two. a word in the answer no. when he asked...why, the employee said that the restaurant was fully booked and rolled into the far away without saying another word. the empty tables suggested otherwise. arrogant, ignorant staff. can not comment on eating as the place has been fully booked and not in the position to put us. not the typical German greeting at all. if they can't be hospitable, they don't work in the hospitality."

"so fast summer trip to ulm had our family looking for a lunch break. the task was handed over to my son and me. we scrubbed this place and decided that it would be worth a try for the rest of the family. to make the longer story short, we fell in love with the first bit! the burgers were super, and all enjoyed a piece of heaven in every bit. oddly we all finished the order of the same type of burger, we shared the side pommes, tweebel rings and even sweet potato friars are possible. after a satisfied lunch on the rest of the afternoon we enjoyed ulm and talked about our wonderful lunch."

"Das Café Brettle kannte ich bis jetzt nur vom veganen Kuchen essen, der übrigens auch sehr lecker ist. Diesmal sind wir zum Frühstücken hingegangen und es hat sich gelohnt. Das vegane Rührei war der hammer, hat für mich fast nach Ei geschmeckt und dazu war die Portion noch sehr ordentlich mit Salat und 2 Brötchen, glaube gekostet hats 11€. "Recently we went to Seven Fish for a family dinner. The first impression was very good - great ambience, good seating and friendly staff. We ordered starters and main dishes. The starters arrived quickly and were all good and tasteful. But the main dish took some time; finally after 1.5 hours it arrived. The arrangement was nice but taste wise a big disappointment. Nearly all dishes had a lack of taste. I tried the calamari and the big shrimps - tasteless - furthermore my shrimps had been burned. At this point of time the restaurant was nearly full. It seems to me - after a good starter and a disappointing main dish - that if the restaurant is full the quality lacks."

"We wanted to go to another restaurant but it was closed on Mondays. We did not excpect much from this little italian eatery. They had a few lunch deals and so we just picked something from the signs outside. They didn't have the special pasta...with salmon so they said they would whip something up. The restaurant is in a beautiful little old building with wooden beams and mirrors all along the ceiling. Out server named Mustafa, even had a poem about him written on the walls. Overall the vibe was very casual and friendly for a monday midday. Turns out Mustafa was very popular as even a random business person commented how he is the only reason he still lives in Ulm. Our food as AMAZING, the gnochies were from heaven and my salmon and pasta was al dente and delicious. When the bill came we were amazed again, only euro per dish!!!! thi would have been at least twice as much in San Francisco or what I would expect. Def. go here and have lunch if you can."

"we were to be hosted as a group of workmates with a total of 9 people in the heart cellar. everything was great. the telephone-ordered table in the rustic stube was reserved for us on time. the foods and drinks were all served at the same time and were of very good quality. all colleagues were very satisfied with their food. this could also be recognized by all the teller "absolutely empty" went back. also the service was very pleasant and empty jars were quickly refilled. a highly recommended house with very cozy ambiente and a good bourgeois menu with very moderate trips. parking is only 1 minute away in the nearby parking lot salzstadel."

"I went to Bellavista for the view, you can see the Münster. They have a very nice and cozy atmosphere, at the same time is cool. You have an awesome view in the terrace. I sat on the corner, where the wall is all of...glass, so I could see the city under me. The service is really excellent, the waiter is very nice and helpful. I ordered a salad with salmon and it was delicious, the vegan risotto also taste amazing, and the smoothie was also very good. A very good espresso was the perfect ending for such a great dinner. I love it, hope I can come back soon!"

"I came here with workmates. a colleague was actually Italian and communicated with the waiter who was also Italian. So it was a good start. "Terrible terrible. Ordered a salmon bagel on the 30th of april, which arrived quickly that's great , but went straight back after I gave it a good try. Old dry bagel, old unwashed lettuce with sand and the salmon was barely there. I got my money back, but no apologies, unfriendly staff. And we ordered a chocolate milk with hardly any chocolate in there. Skip it."

"The Ratskeller is located right in the city center of Ulm which is a great location, as it's right next to the Ulmer Münster! Their prices are fairly high, so if you're up for a cheap meal, then the Ratskeller is probably not the restaurant for you. They have a lot of different meals on their menu English menu is also available on demand. I've had a Rumpsteak it was fine, but not quite what I expected for a 20 EUR steak. If you're going for a steak I'd rather recommend John Benton's Steakhouse, which is right next door. For other traditional German food Ratskeller is a nice option though my friends liked their meals a lot! Their staff is very nice and welcoming one of the waiters even gladly took a group photo of us, when we asked him to do so. The building itself reminded me of the Hofbräuhaus in Munich, it's got a similar architectural style, yet it's probably not as old. Resumé: If you're willing to pay about 25 EUR for your dinner, it's definitely worth a try don't go for the Rumpsteak though."

I give 5 stars because I really enjoyed the pizza and the ambiente! I think the reviewers are sometimes too hard at the service staff I bet they are all of their feet and super stressed with the current lack of people who want to work in the hospitality."
