"Regularly visit this pub with friends and always have a great time. Always feel welcome by the fantastic staff and landlord and landlady. Fantastic range of sports played on TV including the women's football! Great food and always in good time. Lovely atmosphere and great when there’s live music. Best place in Worcester park!"

"Usually I have no issues getting vegan options, they’re really good! But yesterday, I don’t know why it was such an issue. I usually can choose anything off the menu and they veganise it, great, sorted. But this time, when I asked for a vegan Pollo Fiesta (usually I ask for a Forza but that’s been gotten rid of) they brought me the normal pizza with chicken and sour cream on it, just with vegan cheese? And then when I challenged it, our waiter tried to make it seem like that was a normal thing to have done, when someone asks for a vegan pizza, you still put chicken on it? I said usually when I order a vegan chicken pizza, you put those little ‘chicken’ cubes on it, the Quorn ones. He said we don’t have that…mate I’ve been eating it for years so that’s definitely not true. He then brought me the vegan menu, I literally pointed to wear it says the quorn ‘chicken’ pieces. He didn’t respond, but anyway, so they made me a new pizza, which would have been great and all fixed but when he brought it over it had real chicken on it again. I asked if it was real chicken again and he goes, ‘well you ordered a vegan pizza so it must be vegan chicken’. Cool, well that didn’t apply the first time did it. I couldn’t be bothered with the argument, I picked it off and gave it to my friend but I think that was pretty bad, and then to try and gaslight me into thinking I was insane, literally have never had an issue before, I even order for delivery often, so I know what those cheap little vegan chicken cubes look like. Just annoying, spoiled what was supposed to be a nice birthday lunch."

"Have just had an excellent breakfast here. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Jen. Food hot and good value for money. Would highly recommend. Excellent menu choices for everyone including the dogs. Will definitely make a return visit in the future."

"Went to this wonderful restaurant again last night, also in June. Always been a very special place with amazing food, and brilliant service. Very kind people who make you feel very welcome. Beautiful Crispy Aromatic Duck, and Sizzling Satay Chicken, and Husband had Sweet and Sour King prawns. Delicious, then one of the best Calypso Coffee's to be had. Thoroughly recommend this lovely place."

"We had a table booked for 4 people on the 9/3/24 at 18.30. At 20.30 we were still waiting to eat . We noticed that our half of the restaurant was full now , but noticed that EVERY table had no food on, apart from the poppadoms that you normally get at the start . We complained and was told they would check . We decided to pay up and leave as this was not acceptable. We came in to eat not just to drink . We didn’t expect to have to had wait 2 hours for our food. The manager came over as we wanted to complain again , about the length of time we had to wait .As we left we noticed that the other half of the restaurant by the front door, every TABLE was eating, where as our half nobody was eating . It looked to us as being a ploy to order more drinks while you have to wait .I will not be coming back here again !!!"

"We made a reservation for 7 pm on a Wednesday evening for 5 adults and 2 young children. Despite arriving early at 6:30, we called ahead to confirm it was alright. However, even after only ordering garlic bread and olives as starters, we did not receive our pizzas and pastas until 7:50. When my son complained about the delay, he was assured it would be ready soon. After 15 more minutes, my brother approached the chef/owner, who came out of the kitchen and said, "You should have informed us that you were in a hurry." My brother pointed out that with 2 young children, it should have been obvious that we needed to be served promptly. The food finally arrived five minutes later with no apologies. Although the food was generally good, my son's fettuccine Verona was not enjoyable. Waiting over an hour for pizzas and pastas, especially with young children, was unacceptable. It seemed like they were more focused on takeaways than customers dining in. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. It's a shame, as I dislike leaving negative reviews."

"Words fail to describe how good this place is! Their Guiness is sheer perfection I don't know what they do to it but its 10/10 as good or even better than I've had in Ireland If you don't live near DON'T have the Guiness here as nothing else will ever compare! The Service all the staff soo friendly and helpful 10/10 The food The Cabbage, Ham , Potato and Parlsey Sauce Man Sooo Good as is everything on the Menu And just when you think things can't get better, try the Sunday Carvery it tastes homemade, 1000 better than a Toby Carvery even the Carrots are out of this world! Easily one of the best Pubs I've been to Can't be faulted, well maybe the crowds that go there on Sundays and when events are on! Hardly the Pubs fault for being so popular!"

"We stayed at this hotel and had Sunday dinner and breakfast. The room was fine, but the water temperature was too low and we had cold showers. We have been here before for Sunday dinner, but this time it was disappointing. The ingredients seemed high quality, but the cooking was not great. The meat was tough, the broccoli was undercooked, and the roasts were hard. The Yorkshire puddings were flat. The only decent items were the cauliflower cheese and peas. Other guests were also complaining about the food. When we mentioned our dissatisfaction, the staff did not apologize or offer any compensation. The Sunday dinner was not worth the price. The breakfast the next day was okay, but the sausage was not what we expected. Overall, we were very disappointed and will not be returning. The hotel room was reasonably priced, but better quality food would make a big difference. We left as unsatisfied customers."

"the restaurant as our usual the grange was completely booked. it was a Saturday night, and we were the only 2 people we thought was something strange? we were greeted by a very friendly and friendly young girl. we ordered a beer and a mango leti bee came on, but we were informed later that the kitchen could not knock on a mango letis. we ordered a mixed grill between us for starter the menu description indicated that it contains a nan, huhn tikka, kebab, windshield wiper and another type of huh. after 50 minutes we wait several inquiries and about 15 minutes later the owner came with a sad looking sizzling plate that only a few bits of chopped chicken tikka lamb kebab, he said "here make a start on this"! we asked where the others were dinge and he said that the nan soon get this first”! when we said about the disc and other chickens, he called aggressive and loud: “You did not order the distributor.” we told him that it was on the menu description and he denied it! So we asked him to read the menu before us, and when he saw that we were right, he began to murmur something about someone else who wrote and stormed the menu! the unfortunate waitress who stood close, apologised to behave. she was full of embarrassment. we told her that it wasn't her fault, but we really couldn't stay after it and she said that she understood completely and didn't expect us to pay for the drinks and 2 parpages we had. my man and I were really on a beautiful evening and good eating and instead the owner ruined it with his inability, bad attitude and greed he was clearly prioritizing phone orders over the 2 of us in the restaurant. it's a shame that if the place was renovated, it's not! I think his daughter, who runs the kitchen with him, but not this evening, would most likely be appalled by his shameful behavior. we will not return."

"C'est la pire expérience que j'aie jamais eue. Je souhaite vraiment pouvoir récupérer mon argent. C'était très bruyant, désorganisé et horrible dans l'ensemble. Les serveurs ne savaient pas quelles tables leur appartenaient. Les gens là-bas étaient incroyablement bruyants, suffisamment pour déranger visiblement tout le monde, et personne n'a rien fait à ce sujet. La nourriture était mal assaisonnée et cuite. Les portions étaient minuscules. Ne viens jamais ici, jamais. C'est un horrible restaurant d'hôtel."

"Sutton Staithe held the reception for our wedding. They did an excellent job providing outstanding service throughout the day and in the lead up to it. They made the day relaxed and run smoothly. Thank you so much to the catering staff who went above and beyond to provide us with an entirely vegan menu which received so many compliments on and after the day. Nothing was too much hassle. A special mention to Sam who organised the whole event and was there for us every step of the way thank you! Also a really lovely stay at the hotel and looking forward to returning for another visit."
