"Usually I have no issues getting vegan options, they’re really good! But yesterday, I don’t know why it was such an issue. I usually can choose anything off the menu and they veganise it, great, sorted. But this time, when I asked for a vegan Pollo Fiesta (usually I ask for a Forza but that’s been gotten rid of) they brought me the normal pizza with chicken and sour cream on it, just with vegan cheese? And then when I challenged it, our waiter tried to make it seem like that was a normal thing to have done, when someone asks for a vegan pizza, you still put chicken on it? I said usually when I order a vegan chicken pizza, you put those little ‘chicken’ cubes on it, the Quorn ones. He said we don’t have that…mate I’ve been eating it for years so that’s definitely not true. He then brought me the vegan menu, I literally pointed to wear it says the quorn ‘chicken’ pieces. He didn’t respond, but anyway, so they made me a new pizza, which would have been great and all fixed but when he brought it over it had real chicken on it again. I asked if it was real chicken again and he goes, ‘well you ordered a vegan pizza so it must be vegan chicken’. Cool, well that didn’t apply the first time did it. I couldn’t be bothered with the argument, I picked it off and gave it to my friend but I think that was pretty bad, and then to try and gaslight me into thinking I was insane, literally have never had an issue before, I even order for delivery often, so I know what those cheap little vegan chicken cubes look like. Just annoying, spoiled what was supposed to be a nice birthday lunch."

"My family and I have been regular customers of Heen’s for a few years now. Sadly, the management have never cared to take the time to remember customer names or have any warmth or friendliness. Despite me speaking to the same woman over the phone...many times, there’s never any recognition. Such simple things like saying “hello again”, really do go a long way. They can even see your number and address on their phone system. Nevertheless, we still used Heen’s at least once a fortnight for the last years, and never had an issue. Until last week, one of meals had a staple in it! I couldn’t believe it. It was a used staple and was in the Singapore Noodles. I telephoned the restaurant to complain, we had never experienced this before and we were shocked. The same lady that I’ve spoken to for years, tried to claim that the staple fell into the bag when they stapled the receipt to the plastic bag. I queried how the staple could fall into the closed tin foil box but they had no answer. They offered me a refund on my next order but I preferred to have it on this order. They kindly refunded me the meal and brought a fresh meal to the house. I was very appreciative for this gesture. A week later, we tried to order another take away but found that we have been “blacklisted” by the management. We can’t order food or have food delivered. Completely non sensical. They are prepared to lose a good customer because they made a complaint? Are we not allowed to exercise our right to complain about food/service? Clearly Heen’s think not. We could have course used a different phone number and collected the order but we voted with our feet and will not be using Heen’s again. I would recommend others to do the same and I would also recommend that they employ staff with some warmth, compassion and friendliness"

"the restaurant as our usual the grange was completely booked. it was a Saturday night, and we were the only 2 people we thought was something strange? we were greeted by a very friendly and friendly young girl. we ordered a beer and a mango leti bee came on, but we were informed later that the kitchen could not knock on a mango letis. we ordered a mixed grill between us for starter the menu description indicated that it contains a nan, huhn tikka, kebab, windshield wiper and another type of huh. after 50 minutes we wait several inquiries and about 15 minutes later the owner came with a sad looking sizzling plate that only a few bits of chopped chicken tikka lamb kebab, he said "here make a start on this"! we asked where the others were dinge and he said that the nan soon get this first”! when we said about the disc and other chickens, he called aggressive and loud: “You did not order the distributor.” we told him that it was on the menu description and he denied it! So we asked him to read the menu before us, and when he saw that we were right, he began to murmur something about someone else who wrote and stormed the menu! the unfortunate waitress who stood close, apologised to behave. she was full of embarrassment. we told her that it wasn't her fault, but we really couldn't stay after it and she said that she understood completely and didn't expect us to pay for the drinks and 2 parpages we had. my man and I were really on a beautiful evening and good eating and instead the owner ruined it with his inability, bad attitude and greed he was clearly prioritizing phone orders over the 2 of us in the restaurant. it's a shame that if the place was renovated, it's not! I think his daughter, who runs the kitchen with him, but not this evening, would most likely be appalled by his shameful behavior. we will not return."
