"We’ve eaten here several times, nice atmosphere, staff are efficient, friendly and helpful, so we decided to go here for an early Christmas meal. The table was nicely done, table runner, crackers etc., one of us had prawn cocktail, three had soup all of which was lovely. The vegetarian roast was apparently nice and had a gravy boat with it. The roast was less than mediocre, two very thin slices of Turkey that tasted of plastic, veg was raw, Yorkshire pudding was ok, stuffing was over cooked, no cranberry sauce, and a couple of tablespoons of tasteless watery gravy. Most of it was left. We all had rum and raisin sticky toffee pudding with custard, it was inedible, we couldn’t get a spoon through it, in fact we even tried with a knife and fork but it was solid. We made our feelings known, but the chef didn’t come out, nor were were offered any kind of discount. I wouldn’t recommend it."
