"what a disappointment, never again. well booked in advance for a Saturday evening meal for three and was very excited about it. was in zaza both in bushey and in pinner and had nothing but good experiences, so thought it would be nice. to have a change of landscape in ruislip. how wrong I was. it was shown our table that was right next to the door and in the middle of the entrance, right where someone went to the restaurant that waited for her table, would float and not a suitable room to enjoy a quiet family dinner. I understand that the last years were challenging for restaurants, but even if they want to add some extra seats in less than ideal places, they should at least warn their patrons before they book them. When I asked if we could be moved, I was asked what was wrong with the table and when I pointed out that the unpleasant edification was welcomed by apathie. I asked if we could be changed to one of the many other empty tables in the venue and said that they were all booked, but that we could wait to see if someone was gone I had booked our table week to be clearly offered the worst place in the house and then essentially treated like an inconvenient walkable to ask left an extremely acid taste. I found the personal I spoke to be cold and quite rude. feeling frustrated and unintentional, we decided to take our business elsewhere and received a warm greeting and a beautiful meal on the road on the mamma pink."

"We tried this Italian restaurant in Ruislip for a late brunch and were impressed with their two course early bird menu which is very good value at £14 per person and delivers in terms of food quality. I went for the parmigiana to start which was well balanced and simply scrumptious. For my main I tried the rigatoni alla boscailo which was a mushroom pasta with a gorgonzola and cream sauce. Vegetarian pasta frequently disappoints especially when on a set menu but this certainly did not. You will find great service in Mamma Rosa and it is so nice to find a decent Italian restaurant a stone's throw from home. Vegetarian options: There are reasonable vegetarian options and what's more they actually taste very good"

"Went here last Saturday for a birthday party the food was late the manager was rude and when I sent something back she went bizurke not only was she rude she was giving one of the waitresses a really hard time I was also over charged 30 quid for about 20 pounds or less of food after I told the manager to put 20 on the tab she just blanked me and put 30 asked for my receipt and I didn't get it won't be coming back here at all wasn't a very welcoming experience I'll be emailing them also it's sickening"

"I was in masala coal about 6/7 times and I swear every time I go, it just gets better and better! I loved the bbq flower flowers bites I had never had before, before the beautiful supplement of their vegetarian dishes! the cocktails were brilliant! it was just shameful that she didn't want to try the passion bee cake! everything else was 10/10 and service was brilliant as usual! the atmosphere was beautiful and I have many unstoppable pictures! the pictures below are some of the dishes we ordered. paneer burger will always be my favorite."

"We ordered 5 veg starters and 3 veg mains, out of which most of the food was very basic or bland, except the stuffed baby aubergine curry. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. It was very slow after the starters and we struggled to get the waiter’s attention. They kept on forgetting things we ordered and we had to ask multiple times for the same things. The ambience was good however when they bring out a celebration cake for someone, they turn up the volume of the music, to the point that you just can’t talk anymore and it lasts for what feels like ages! It disrupted our conversation so many times. Overall we were very disappointed and will not be visiting this place again."

"I've been wanting to try this place for some time, but I was disappointed by the limited vegan options. The falafel wrap was quite dry and had very little salad—just some tomato, lettuce, and onion—and hardly any sauce. The cauliflower "not wings" were decent, but the chips weren't marked as vegan since they are cooked in the same oil as non-vegan items. They arrived cold, and since the fire sauce isn't dry, the chips ended up being soggy as well. This is an update from my previous review on February 12, 2023."

"Me and my family have been going here for years for a kebab and know the shop workers very well. However over recent weeks they have continuously got orders wrong by forgetting sauces and placing them on the wrong parts of the order- which if someone had an allergy could go very wrong. I have also watched the prices soar since January- which I can understand due to cost of living. However, I feel as though the quality and portion size of food does not warrant these extreme prices. I have recently recieved a lamb doner for £12.70 and within this have got 6 pieces whereas there used to be loads. The doner meat was extremely dry and the sauce was half put on. I have put in many complaints on Uber eats but I feel like these are not being heard."

"We had a very nice evening at Cafe Rouge Ruislip. The food was delicious and they had everything that was on the menu. The staff were very attentive without becoming a nuisance and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was lovely, friendly but not too loud. We were able to chat and catch up with our friends without having to shout. We did have a voucher which made the meal good value. Would definitely recommend."

"I had the 12 oz T-Bone steak. It was the worst steak I have ever had, 4 oz of fat and gristle and 8 oz of meat. The restaurant was cold, in fact I intended to have a desert, but decided not to because I was cold. Pre-lockdowns, I was a regular visitor, 2 or 3 times a month to this venue, and I was looking forward to being able to eat there again, but this visit has put me off going again."

"The service was terrible. My coffee was cold and had to be sent back. They mixed up our orders and they had to be returned as well. It would be a nightmare for anyone with food allergies. I mentioned that we had no cash when the bartender hadn't arrived yet. Later, when the cook came over to serve our drinks, several items were unavailable. No one checked to see if our meals were satisfactory. We weren't offered more drinks when our glasses were empty. Our table wasn't cleared after we finished eating, and we weren't offered dessert or coffee. Meanwhile, the manager and waitress just stood by the kitchen pass. The restaurant was empty, and now I understand why. I won't be coming back; the food was barely acceptable, and the staff showed no interest in providing good customer service."
