"This was the worst but most expensive curry I have ever had. I paid £57 for a takeaway which only included 5 dishes with no rice, naan bread, or starters. They advertise a 10% discount for collection, but when we arrived to pick up our order, we were told it was only off the menu prices. This was false advertising. Despite the high prices and good reviews, the quality of the food was disappointing. The chicken was dry and chewy, and the tikka chicken we paid extra for was scarce and incredibly small. I would suggest avoiding this place and saving your money."

"Love this restaurant! I visit regularly with family, travelling from Ireland and Norway. The staff are exceptional, friendly and attentive, in particular with regards to my brother, a wheelchair user. The food is very good indeed with plenty of choice, we never get bored when we visit several times over a weekend. The tiramisu is to die for, and they do wonderful cocktails. I always look forward to my visits to Redhill and dining at Prezzo. Thank you"

"Our visit started with a lovely welcome from Ellie on the front desk. Took us to our tables and ordered our drinks , made us all feel so relaxed from the beginning. Our drinks arrived in minutes even though it was really busy . They were delivered by a lovely smiley friendly Jess . The whole evening was wonderful, Jack our waiter was friendly and efficient and the food was fabulous, every single dish from the starters to our delicious well cooked steaks . Would have loved a dessert but could just not manage it . The whole evening was a lovely experience, well done Mill house staff ."

"Food here is always awesome wether you eat in or takeaway, atmosphere of the restaurant was a little better when Danny was there , he knew everybody by name and treated everyone as an honoured guest. However, staff are friendly enough and attentive but don't really understand my jokes. Unfortunately only takeaways are available these covid days, the food remains awesome and invariably arrives hot and on time. Only criticism I could make is that due to the popularity of the place ...its very hard to get thru on the phone and sometimes we have to call less favourable establishments......its a hard life"

"Myself and my boyfriend have eaten Tapas here a number of times and absolutely loved it, so much so we both raved about it to other people and I was suggesting it for a work night out. Unfortunately our last visit did not live up to the previous high standard and quality of tapas food we had come to expect... The Octopus was an absolute favourite of ours and even at £12 a plate we still thought it was well worth it. I can 't stress how wrong we were this last visit! The plate full of Octopus was actually 6 small slices served on top of greasy sliced potato. Not only had the portion size reduced but the actual taste of the dish was nowhere near the standards previously. Unfortunately the other 5 dishes, including meatballs, ribs, asparagus and chicken we 'd ordered all proved to dissappoint us even further. The portions were small, the theme of greasy potatoes ran through the whole meal and the previously smokey and delicious sauces and seasoning were now extremely bland and lacking. The only dish we enjoyed was the side salad that we 'd asked for despite it not being on the menu. The side salad was a bowl full and was really needed and appreciated to cut through the grease of the other dishes! We cancelled the last dish we were still waiting for and gave our feedback to the waitress who proceeded to explain the feedback was appreciated and would we take the time to fill in a feedback form. We gladly agreed as thought it was valuable feedback as we 'd really loved the food so much before the obvious change in chef that we hoped it might be taken on board and something done to improve the standards again. I left my phone number and email address hoping we would hear something back.... I 've waited 2 weeks before leaving this review... ..still no contact from The Venture to apologise or even acknowledged our comments. So so dissappointed this used to be one of our favourites but unlikely to return now. I 've made sure everyone I recommended it to previous has been told the food quality and standard has dropped and I certainly don 't feel it is value for money anymore with the Octopus being massively overpriced for what you actually get served."

"I lead the east surrey veg group (on facebook) and we arranged here our first meeting! I was a little doubtful, with it a caries,' but the 3 Vegan nets have their own section on the menu, and the manager and chef were super helpful to explain what kind were vegan-friendly. the main dishes were beautiful (I had the linsenhüttenkuchen, and my partner had shared the Wellington-we! the desert was also very beautiful! the only side, overall, was that the nice was a bit overcooked for me, and the fact that they are quite close to the meat deck."

"I have to say that after reading other reviews on this page I’m kind of wondering whether or not they are referring to the same restaurant that I’ve been dining in for years with family and friends?,I can personally say that it’s a great place to eat and their cuisine is absolutely delicious!,Raj and his staff greet you the guest in a very respectful and courteous manner and take you to your table to be seated and you are then presented with their menu with lots of lovely mouthwatering dishes enclosed!,after ordering your food it’s only a matter of time before your food is presented in a very artistic and professional fashion and I’ve seen other diners taking photos of it with their smartphones!,the hospitality in this establishment is first class and I am extremely proud to be able to recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn’t yet had the pleasure of visiting,my many thanks and happy dining,please also take into account the current situation regarding Covid-19 and hospitality measures that all venues must clearly follow and abide by,thank you."

"Really disappointed after a previously more positive experience recently. Surprised to find no tables inside on a Monday so we sat outside which was fine just didn’t have the same atmosphere as being indoors looking at the lovely decor. Lunch menu very limited, sandwich or sandwich vs the online menu suggestions. Chicken, Swiss and onion marmalade panini should have been advertised as onion marmalade panini as the taste was completely overpowering. And at £9 a pop, really disappointing. Cappuccino arrived with no saucer or teaspoon, and separately to the other persons drink order. Why not bring together? Service was okay, one waitress was friendly but the other just no interaction whatsoever. No one came to check on us nor offer anything else. Really reluctant to pay these prices for a couple of boring sandwiches with disappointing service. Maybe they were having a bad day "

The dish looked lovely, but it soon became apparent that the pasta was very under-cooked (I couldn't get a knife though it! and the chicken was dry. "I just don’t understand how this place is so popular. The service is hit or miss. The place is noisy and feels cluttered. The food is abysmal. Clearly all microwaved eggs inedible, bacon rubbery, toast (well bread really) cold and sausage anaemic. "ordered a takeaway for four on a Sunday in February 2024 and I can't tell you how great the food and service was. The food arrived around 40 minutes after we ordered it and it was all delicious. We had a king prawn naga, chicken tikka chilli massala and a tikka massala plus side dishes of garlic rice, onion bhajis and prawn puree. The bhajis were crispy and fantastic an all the other food was excellent as well. We've eaten inside the Taj as well and it was just as good then. They do a great sheek kebab and mixed grill too! Would thoroughly recommend a visit or takeaway you won't be disappointed if you love great Indian curries!"

"My first visit to the Silver Spoon and I have to say, what friendly staff we encountered. We were greeted as we entered and allowed to chose where we wanted to sit. As we picked up the menus. we were asked if we would like a drink, our coffee was soon brought to the table. Having made out choices for lunch, we ordered and the meal came out, hot and well presented on the plates. At no time were we hurried, even though we sat there at the table just chatting."

"I had an excellent Sunday lunch today at this restaurant. It was my first time here, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The roasts were delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked. They came out hot, and we even got free extra Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes if we wanted them! The location is great, with a green area behind the pub for a leisurely stroll. The pub also has a fantastic large garden with various seating areas, so you can choose a quiet spot or sit closer to the bouncy castle for kids, which is a big hit."

"Cocktails are premium priced drinks these days based on the experience of the mixologist and the quality of alcohol and mixers. There are no mixologists here, just bartenders. I watched premium cocktails costing £10 at a minimum being made with Gordon's gin and fruit juice from cartons. The mixers used for gin costing £9 were Schweppes instead of the advertised Fever tree tonics. Number9 calls itself a piano bar that is the perfect place to relax for the more mature client. Please don't be fooled, it is not. There is a piano and a singer who is pleasent, but the volume of which the music is played through the speakers is deafening not relaxing. Between sets the speakers blast music from the early 2000s, which is great fun but not what I was expecting from something that calls itself a piano bar. The tickled ivory it is not and never will be. By 9.30pm it fills with local youths dressed like they are straight from TOWIE that are too drunk to care about the quality of their drinks or cocktails. There are plenty of nicer bars and pubs in Reigate that would be worth your time and money"

"Stayed in Premier Inn went in to eat evening meal on 2nd July what a chaotic experience. We were seated by the kitchen door which banged like a gun shot every time it was used. Only one ale available that was off!!!!! They still tried to charge us for it! We kept having to ask staff who were polite, for everything as they were not organized at all this must be the manager's fault. The food was ok nothing to write home about. Next morning went for breakfast very busy the manager was running around organising her staff her name was Velda, she was brilliant felt for her as the staff she had on shift were not experienced in breakfast, she was trying to train them as well as serving. Think manager should do more."

"Every week, I go for a walk with a friend and we always keep an eye out for great cafes near the end of our stroll. We found one that was just perfect after our 6 mile hike around Epsom Downs. The cafe had a wide-ranging menu, and our hot ciabattas were generously filled and absolutely delicious. For those with a sweet tooth, they also offered a nice selection of cakes. The cafe's location was ideal, with a view overlooking Mere Pond where our walk began and ended. Despite the freezing weather during our visit, we plan to return in the summer months so we can sit outside and enjoy watching the ducks on the pond."
