"first I would like to say that I usually don't leave such a negative review about a restaurant - even if I have had bad experiences. I have worked in the food and drink industry and I realize that sometimes the dinge – despite the best intentions of the establishment – simply do not run properly. my experience at l’osteria was so bad that I feel obliged to warn other potential customers. the problems began as soon as my wife (a native German) and I arrived. when we entered the local and stood on the podium of the host/host, we found absolutely no one who greeted us or showed us if we were to wait until we took the spot or if we were to sit down. After we had waited almost 5 minutes, we went through the restaurant and looked for someone we could ask. Finally, a chef looked up from his cooking obligation in the open kitchen to say briefly, we could sit everywhere. we sat and waited again. a few at a side table complained loudly that no one had been at their table to allow them to pay. we finally got up and picked up our own menus from another table. more than 10 minutes passed and still no employees of the restaurant had come to our table. just as we wanted to go, a cute waiter appeared to receive our drink order. why he was cut, was a riddle, as the restaurant was not occupied at that time. as we had waited so long, we also ordered our lunch: bruschetta as an appetizer and a BBQ-Chicken pizza to share. again we had to wait ridiculously long for our drinks. they were brought to our table by another employee than the person who received our order. I noticed that my half liter beer was not filled up to the 0.5L mark on the glass – a deadly sin in Germany. we have waited full 25 minutes without the staff coming by to see us. my wife finally stood up to order a drink at the bartender himself. after we had passed almost half an hour since our order, the pizza was delivered by another employee. I told her we had ordered bruschetta as an appetizer. she gave me a look that clearly showed that she had no idea of appetizers. she asked if we still wanted it, and she seemed confused when I answered that we wanted to cancel the appetizer. the pizza was barely warm and completely mushy. it had a total of 7 small chicken pieces on the whole cake. If my wife and I hadn't been so hungry, we would have sent it back. the last long wait was for our sack. another employee brought it to us, and it contained - incredible - a fee for bruschetta. another waiting period was required, while the bill was returned to the correction. the entire culinary experience was one of the worst I had traveled in over 30 years in Europe. it was the worst I've ever experienced in Germany. my advice to others is short and easy: stay away. yes, it was really so bad."

"reservation: we wanted to book for 15 people. it did not go online or at the first moment directly by phone, as this is only possible with a certain person. a mail address was notified by phone, as this special mail address is also not provided online. after the note that we would like to have the confirmation directly, the person responsible was randomly close and we were able to make a binding reservation. very complicated!!The first impression: nice and modern. welcome friendly. the first impression was good. The change:The first good impression was quickly disturbed. the toilets looked catastrophic. We have rarely found such a condition in a restaurant. in the price class of the lux you hardly have to say anything about it. among the guests came unmistakably high. but was responded to complaints - nevertheless: the toilets were not normally dirty. no Go!While we still studied the map, a huge bit of empty wine bottles were carried past us. he had to be emptied. It was nice that this building equipment was carried past us again during eating. you already wonder who has learned to be a guest. or just did not learn. The service: waiting times beyond good and evil, in all aspekten. the first order (drinks) was still going, but the rest of the evening was rather a fight for new drinks and these could be waiting for themselves for a long time. the obligatory espresso at the end had to be fought. the question after the dessert came so late, which was probably due to the fact that it took forever until jmd had begun to clear the empty tellers. no longer dessert order from us. Forgotten drinks with a friendly note how long you wait for it were acknowledged with the feedback, as long as you were not in the restaurant - what was wrong, apart from the frechen answer, which was max. unreflected. the service was simply overwhelmed and unprofessional. food: Good to moderate. at 15 people you can test many dishes. partly, eating was very good. the steaks could, unfortunately, not keep in comparison with other steak houses at all, and that is what it is about in the lux. sorry - but that is simply not enough, even in the context of the prices. Flexibility: There is no offer in the evening for children. we had to get several calls with the service for our 3- and 7-year-old companions a bit simple. at the end there were noodles with ketchup. we have already experienced better and more creative cuisines, which also strive for the smallest. the lux has made us very clear that this is not intended. our children are also part of the society! Conclusion:The architecture and equipment promises a lot. so also the online occurs. the disappointment was great, but we spent 500€. in good service we would have spent much more. Unfortunately, it will remain a unique experience for us and the lux, and this applies to all 15 people. very bad!"

"There's nothing quite like sitting down for an all you can eat buffet, knowing that you've got a good two hours on the clock to devour as much food as humanly possible. I take the challenge seriously; I purposely don't eat for most off the day, but, at the same time, keep drinking water so that my stomach doesn't shrink... I'm paying 15 euro for this... I'm getting my money's worth. It's a serious matter! SOOOOOOOOO.... I do not take kindly to rude and inconsiderate waitresses telling me that they are closing an hour early because they want to go home! They seemed to wait until we'd eaten too much food to back out of the deal, before telling us to hurry up and get some food because they wouldn't be serving any more. They then watched like hawks as we piled up our plates, one final, solemn time, before swooping in and stealing the trays from under us.... never to be refilled again. Eventually plucking up the courage, through both anger and hunger, I pointed out that the opening times specifically allude to the restaurant closing at 23:30... "Ah, yes... that is our closing time." Was the answer.... "Oh, good." I thought to myself "Then I will have another plate of your finest noodles please...""Oh, no that's the closing time, but the buffet closes at 22:30" Pure idiocy. (To add insult to injury, at 22:30 we were then asked to pay and the lights were beginning to be turned off). Imagine walking into a supermarket, which closes at 17:00, at 16:30 only be to told that they stopped serving 30 minutes ago, but you're more than welcome to stay. Stupid. I'll admit, most of the food was divine... when it wasn't being snatched from us, like I imagine most of the waitresses' dreams were when they were forced to take a job they clearly hated.HOWEVER, ironically, steer clear of the fresh food... the culinary expertise seems just about capable of opening a pack of chips and some rice, but when it comes to actually having to turn on a grill and cook meat and noodles from an unprocessed state, they seem to run into a little bother... In fact, if you happen to enjoy using chopsticks but are dismayed to find that there are none left, I highly recommend taking up two noodles to the fresh section and asking for them to be cooked... if they are as burnt as mine, they will be sufficiently hard enough to act as substitute chopsticks for your otherwise delightful food! I'm not going back there."
