"Located in the "Kuhviertel" (Kreuzstraße Münster), my hopes for an interesting experience were high. Bars and restaurants in this section tend primarily towards students and "Die Carvete" is the oldest student tavern in Münster (run by students). It is a shame I didn't...know this, as I found a small table in the front at a window and didn't look at the back section (though tumultuous jabbering could be heard from there). It calls itself the "akademische Bieranstalt" (the academic beer institution). The menu is actually quite extensive for a tavern and food is well student-oriented (meaning very attractively priced and mostly quite simple). Nonetheless, the quality was absolutely ok. They also offer several types of beer as well as wine and other drinks. The service was friendly and very attentive. The decoration (at least in the section I was in) is extremely interesting and a must-see (I won't give it away). The only negative thing was the Wifi on offer. It was necessary for me, as Vodafone only offers GPRS here and I had a couple of emails to write. Getting on the Wifi is unnecessarily difficult you connect and are then directed very slowly to a Facebook page, where you have to "take your pants down" (luckily you can tone down the exposition a bit), then you have to like the Tavern and then you are given access. I've never quite experienced an onboarding process quite like this. To make matters worse, the connectivity is unfathomably slow. Sure, you're not supposed to be on your phone while you're here. So forgetting about the Wifi experience, the Cavete is a place you need to go to if you visit Münster! Be aware, though, that they don't open until"

"O zapft is . Yes, even the behaved Westfalen wanted to experience the Bavarian Gaudi. In order not to create culture shocks in a small setting, namely at a motto evening at the Gasthaus Kortmann in Münster-Roxel. We didn't know the place until then, and we seem to have missed something. Kortmann is located in the Roxel district, accessible by bus, parking is possible with good luck in the vicinity. The website provides further information, also the menu is visible. The restaurant and the toilets are barrier-free, for the smokers there is an ashtray outside the door. Our Bavarian evening began at 7 p.m. with a nice welcome and a companion to our reserved table. In the middle room is the counter as well as some cat tables, on the left in the festive room were long beer benches and tables built, there it went round. We sat a little quieter in the right restaurant area at normal tables. The decoration was Bavarian, but not overloaded or cheesy, the tables were also nicely decorated, it matched in itself to the motto and together. The service personnel also wore Dirndl. Food Matching to the motto there was a special card with Bavarian dishes such as Brezensuppe, Haxe, Obatzter etc., as well as Oktoberfestbier. The price for the measure was about €7.20, but also 0.3l and 0.5l were offered. The beer was suffocated and it did not remain at a measure.... In addition to appetizers, the normal card offers mainly carvings, salads, two vegetarian dishes, children's dishes and specialties, all the way to home cooking. On the way, we all ordered a pulp (1,50€ . Was not a scratch now, so I ignore it further. The man's paintings chose the Bavarian pork ham roast with red cabbage and dumplings (11,90€). The roast was wonderful, tender, good meat taste. The sauce thick, very spicy and perfectly adhering to the knocks. The gentlemen were happy. My table neighbour chose Semmelknödel with mushroom ragout (8,90€ . The also quite large portion of fresh mushrooms in spicy cream sauce was accompanied by three thick semmelk noodles and found very tasty. I had the Salat Roxel (9,90€). I have seen much more sweeter or lesser salads, just like taste. The ingredients were fresh and crisp, accompanied by a mountain of freshly fried mushrooms. The iceberg salad was surrounded with a fine yogurt dressing, the remaining components with a spicy vinaigrette. In addition to carrot salad, corn, Kidney beans, green beans, tomatoes, cucumber sticks, radii, herb salad and a radish rose were found. A colorful, fresh mixture, great. There were two slices of toast. Finally, it should be hazelnut schnapps and an gentian. 4 persons, 4 pulpits, 4 main dishes, 4 pulps, 5 yards and various small beers for 129€, there is nothing to put out at the PLV (5 stars. The ingredients were fresh, the dishes were well seasoned and beautifully dressed, the portions neat. Also the dishes that other guests got looked very promising, the haxe resch, the cramps golden brown. Only the pulp and the toast get deduction, you could put on more beautiful baked goods. Service The ladies of the service were friendly, but at least initially very stressful. The reordering of the drinks was sometimes a bit slow, so a gang to the toilet was connected to an order at the counter. However, the good mood did not really break down. The waiting time for the drinks was very short, the food also came (thanks to good preparation of the kitchen very quickly. I'll take off 1 star, a spark more cordiality and attention would have been nice. Cleanliness dishes, inventory, toilets throughout the evening clean, nothing negative to report. Ambience The establishment of the restaurant awakens cosiness, there you would like to eat and/or drink at the counter. The decoration for the Oktoberfest motto was harmonious and made with consideration. In the guest room, despite the many people around, it was not too loud, even the music was only made when almost everyone was ready to eat. Four stars therefore for the snapshot Ambiente Oktoberfest. The total impression gets 4 stars. We will certainly go back to the restaurant Kortmann because of the good food and then give us a picture of normal operation, but we are in very positive expectation."

"reservation: we wanted to book for 15 people. it did not go online or at the first moment directly by phone, as this is only possible with a certain person. a mail address was notified by phone, as this special mail address is also not provided online. after the note that we would like to have the confirmation directly, the person responsible was randomly close and we were able to make a binding reservation. very complicated!!The first impression: nice and modern. welcome friendly. the first impression was good. The change:The first good impression was quickly disturbed. the toilets looked catastrophic. We have rarely found such a condition in a restaurant. in the price class of the lux you hardly have to say anything about it. among the guests came unmistakably high. but was responded to complaints - nevertheless: the toilets were not normally dirty. no Go!While we still studied the map, a huge bit of empty wine bottles were carried past us. he had to be emptied. It was nice that this building equipment was carried past us again during eating. you already wonder who has learned to be a guest. or just did not learn. The service: waiting times beyond good and evil, in all aspekten. the first order (drinks) was still going, but the rest of the evening was rather a fight for new drinks and these could be waiting for themselves for a long time. the obligatory espresso at the end had to be fought. the question after the dessert came so late, which was probably due to the fact that it took forever until jmd had begun to clear the empty tellers. no longer dessert order from us. Forgotten drinks with a friendly note how long you wait for it were acknowledged with the feedback, as long as you were not in the restaurant - what was wrong, apart from the frechen answer, which was max. unreflected. the service was simply overwhelmed and unprofessional. food: Good to moderate. at 15 people you can test many dishes. partly, eating was very good. the steaks could, unfortunately, not keep in comparison with other steak houses at all, and that is what it is about in the lux. sorry - but that is simply not enough, even in the context of the prices. Flexibility: There is no offer in the evening for children. we had to get several calls with the service for our 3- and 7-year-old companions a bit simple. at the end there were noodles with ketchup. we have already experienced better and more creative cuisines, which also strive for the smallest. the lux has made us very clear that this is not intended. our children are also part of the society! Conclusion:The architecture and equipment promises a lot. so also the online occurs. the disappointment was great, but we spent 500€. in good service we would have spent much more. Unfortunately, it will remain a unique experience for us and the lux, and this applies to all 15 people. very bad!"

"There's nothing quite like sitting down for an all you can eat buffet, knowing that you've got a good two hours on the clock to devour as much food as humanly possible. I take the challenge seriously; I purposely don't eat for most off the day, but, at the same time, keep drinking water so that my stomach doesn't shrink... I'm paying 15 euro for this... I'm getting my money's worth. It's a serious matter! SOOOOOOOOO.... I do not take kindly to rude and inconsiderate waitresses telling me that they are closing an hour early because they want to go home! They seemed to wait until we'd eaten too much food to back out of the deal, before telling us to hurry up and get some food because they wouldn't be serving any more. They then watched like hawks as we piled up our plates, one final, solemn time, before swooping in and stealing the trays from under us.... never to be refilled again. Eventually plucking up the courage, through both anger and hunger, I pointed out that the opening times specifically allude to the restaurant closing at 23:30... "Ah, yes... that is our closing time." Was the answer.... "Oh, good." I thought to myself "Then I will have another plate of your finest noodles please...""Oh, no that's the closing time, but the buffet closes at 22:30" Pure idiocy. (To add insult to injury, at 22:30 we were then asked to pay and the lights were beginning to be turned off). Imagine walking into a supermarket, which closes at 17:00, at 16:30 only be to told that they stopped serving 30 minutes ago, but you're more than welcome to stay. Stupid. I'll admit, most of the food was divine... when it wasn't being snatched from us, like I imagine most of the waitresses' dreams were when they were forced to take a job they clearly hated.HOWEVER, ironically, steer clear of the fresh food... the culinary expertise seems just about capable of opening a pack of chips and some rice, but when it comes to actually having to turn on a grill and cook meat and noodles from an unprocessed state, they seem to run into a little bother... In fact, if you happen to enjoy using chopsticks but are dismayed to find that there are none left, I highly recommend taking up two noodles to the fresh section and asking for them to be cooked... if they are as burnt as mine, they will be sufficiently hard enough to act as substitute chopsticks for your otherwise delightful food! I'm not going back there."

"the Imperial Palace in Munich is a Chinese restaurant with a good selection of buffet. they can choose to eat only or for a few euro more, including everything they can drink soft drinks. we were here to eat the 80th birthday of my oma with the whole family and decided to make the variants with drinks. costs the whole 20,90€ per person. alcoholic drinks they have to pay extra, which is very cheap, a beer costs only 1,00€. first to the facility: the restaurant runs through a normally large door with glass and frame. from the beginning there is a theke. here they can get various things like fish or meat roasted. on the right of it the buffet is built in three sections. there are appetizers like salat or sushi, we eat roasted noodles, duck, fish, croquettes, sauces or crab chips. we can wind bag or pudding there too. the selection is large and for everyone there is guaranteed something. on the right side of the buffet are the drinks for everything they can eat in small refrigerators. also here is the choice neatly there is a great choice of alcohol-free beer and rudel, bitter lemon, maltbier, energydrinks, cola, apfelschorle and bionade. they can also get various coffee specialties such as espresso, cappuccino or latte macchiato. my tante had actually reserved us an additional room, but that was only a separate area with two long tables, of which we could take a place. on the other table sat another birthday party. the food was tasteful in any case very good and they were well fed. I also found that they have played happy birthday and got the birthday boy, so my oma and those on the neighboring, a muffin with chocolate coating and amazement. the toilet system was also very clean and well maintained and it was always seen that toilet paper is present. I can definitely recommend the imiserpalast in the siniest."

"It is also not surprising that yesterday with more than 100 guests we have the 100. Birthday of the neighbor. Now one could assume that we are particularly old here at the farm in Münsterland, but it is not. Sabine and Uwe celebrated their 50s. Birthday (and that makes together 100 years) and got a : Walk of Fame with a red carpet, which I found especially original. But now back to my anniversary evening with Peter. As always, the reception was warm, almost familiary, with handbeat. Half six already occupied about 50% of places speaks for themselves. The small weekly changing card always offers surprises. Peter recommends a spring salad and comes to my table with two beautifully chilled white wines and lets me try. I decide for a French fruity Colombard Sauvignon, who dances on the tongue like an invitation to the not yet existing summer. He lets the bottle stand on the table and that is of course seductive because I only want to drink a 0.1. Of course, I'll still give you a chance, though I'm with the Rover, but he knows the way. The spring salad 5,90 with grilled warm green asparagus lying on a radish unfolds a pleasant aroma, a fruity Ruculasalat mates with my beloved cherry tomato, surrounded by slanted hauch-thin white asparagus. A Kleck's strawberry rhubarb sauce forms a sweet contrast to the Vinaigrette. The young service takes care of me in a touch while the boss works in the kitchen. The children at the side table are also smiling with extra wishes according to their own table. I have already described the establishment in my last report. The main course recommends Peter a black halibut for 15.90. It comes in two different variants on the plate, once covered with bacon and once fried with Japanese panko. The plate is a poem, I'm in the 7th sky. The two fish variants give a good contrast to the spicy risotto, which is surrounded by a paprika tomato sauce and melts on the tongue like a symphony. The whole is decorated with Rucula. What else can come now? A small dessert consisting of a Strawberry Robber Küchlein for 2.80 with a chocolate-chruchy-bot crowns the senses and if I stay still further here, the wine bottle will empty and I have to take a hotel room. A successful menu surprise evening with a creative kitchen with lots of attention to detail and with a well-being guarantee, thanks for this great evening Peter's dining room ."
