"I am working in this area and was brought here by a colleague. Since then I have visited three times having soup, a baguette and a Mediterranean breakfast. On each occasion the food was plentiful and delicious. The staff are always friendly and there is always a good atmosphere. You can also park which is a bonus in London. It is a tight squeeze in there and there isn’t a toilet but don’t let either of those put you off. Whether you want a sit down meal or a takeaway this place is well worth a visit."

"first visit in a year, this restaurant was earlier one of my favorite and very good service and environment, unfortunately it has now deteriorated. literally for 7.30 a.m. on Saturday and at arrival we were put into the bar to eat what was. very loud surrounded by loud annoying people so a conversation between my part and I was difficult. the waiter was a little short at the limit. the Krug crackers are now charged and expensive. the portions were still delicious, but small and very badly presented (especially the salad) compared to my previous visit. waited for 35 minutes to gloomy and had to ask again and again about the bill. sad to say, I'm not sure I'm going back!"

"I went to Deserie with my friend Dec It was the first time since the recent renovations and extension of the restaurant had been completed. It is so much bigger and the table are very well distanced from each other. The decor is...great and the lighting perfect. The air is clean and fresh. There are so many servers which is great, as anything you want is catered for so quickly. We both had the grilled kalamari and octopus, beautiful crispy hot chips with a lovely greek salad (who cares if it an iceberg lettuce and not a cos Lettuce (Effie G). It was a great bowl of fresh ingredients. The taramasalata was creamy and pitta bread was lovely and hot. Complementary fruit for too, grapes, pineapple, melon and orange slices. Portions are generous and you don't leave hungry. So good I'm back there this Friday, with my daughter and son in law. We were having a meat free evening but i can equally recommend their chargrill kebabs and the sea bass is to die for."

"a few friends told us about this place when we just started years ago. Since then, zaza has always been our safer harbour: when we wanted a nice lunch or dinner, but nothing too chic or too basic when we had guests from Britain or other countries and we wanted to be sure everyone is happy and satisfied. it offers a very good selection of things to do, for us it is really a safe choice. in fact, the place Italian cuisine makes with an attention to the English gamut. for example, honesty, I love the stuffed pasta "conchiglie with pollen (hence) although the chicken filling in italy is not really used. in this case, the result is worth. but in any case there are so many teller to try. we were always served with courtesy and a friendly smile. Eat is fresh and tastes beautiful. her crème Brûlée is still one of my favorite places in comparison to others. I don't think it's suitable for children to walk around (there are places more child-friendly, I think). but is nice for a good time with the right people and good eating."

"Found Last night to be one of my best experiences in a very long time, for a restaurant meal. The food is outstanding here the grilled squid and the lamb exceptional. Went with a business colleague and was the perfect choice we were running late, last out at the end and they made us feel welcome and no fuss. The staff and owner made us feel so welcome and took time out to talk to us and also had the honour to hear more from the chef about his cooking. A true jem worth visiting and prices are spot on. "A quick dinner turned into a lovely surprise. We sat down at this Turkish restaurant, expecting standard quality food. To our big surprise the food was above the average for this kind of venue. The interior is grand and wonderful, something that doesn’t always translate to great tasting food. Not at Deraliye. The food was superb. Adana kebab, lamb shish, calamari, hummus and all the rest of our food was very delicious. I have 2 suggestions to the management, though. Less potatoes in the octopus salad and add Künefe to the dessert menu. I was very happy with this gem of a Turkish restaurant. Noted down in my “to be repeated” list. Obviously, highly recommended."

"Visited La Caverna last Saturday evening with my wife. I was glad we booked, as it was full by 9pm, creating a nice buzzy atmosphere. We have been here quite a few times over the years, posting a number of reviews. We both had a lovely evening, enjoying our 3 courses house wine. Looking forward to our next visit, hopefully to see Stefan back at the helm."

"Food is OK, chilled white wine isn 't chilled enough. Busy pub in a lovely area...main issue is the staff...they are all fairly officious and terse...except one young lady behind the bar who was smiley and great. When you have finished eating your plate is whipped away in a nano second without any interaction. I did try and said to the guy who took my starter plate.... 'really enjoyed that ' I said....the response was 'order some more then '. Nice. How about 'Glad you enjoyed it will you be ordering a main course 'The couple and I on the next table giggled as their plates were whisked away whilst they we still chewing there last mouthful. I know this is a chain and therefore the staff probably aren 't invested in the business bit think it could be a much better experience. Probably being a bit hard on the staff as this is obviously a management problem...or lack of it.l"

"So according to tripadvisor I heard that Mama’s Pita, a Greek mediterranean fast food restaurant is the best quick foods establishment in Enfield, so I decide to visit and see what makes this place great. As you walk in Mama’s Pita, i found that the tropical designs such as the plants and choice of colours helps create a Greek mediterranean atmosphere and was eye catching I wasn’t too sure what pita wrap meal to order so i ask the staff member what were the most poplar meals in which he offer me a great selection such as the vegetarian cauliflower halloumi pita or the Yeeros pork pita. In the end, I order the chicken souvlaki pita which had mayo, tomatoes, chips and salad mix which came to £7.50 which I feel is reasonable. I was surprised that it came with a plate and the staff member delivered it to my table. Talk about extra courtesy. The salad mix and mayo pairs well with the chicken and I really like how soft and crispy the chips were that It surprise me. My favourite was the pita wrap itself which felt soft and was big enough to hold the other ingredients. From what I observed their food hygiene is very good according to their certificate and the kitchen looked clean with COSSH standards taken place such as no cleaning products near food preparation. My only downside is the seating is very limited to about 3 5 customers so if do go there in a group you may need to eat outside. Probably best for takeaway. Overall im satisfied with this hidden enfield Mediterranean fast food gem and would visit again to try out their other pita wraps."

"This is a genuine Guyanese restaurant. The owner Andrew is friendly . The food is fantastic. We had patties , pilouri , chow mein , goat and lamb curry , saltfish and bake and rice . The food is amazing , tasty , good portions and very excellent. The premises were clean and good sized . Plenty of room . If only there was more on the menu . We loved it . Fantastic. Thanks"

"We go to Zippola every Saturday for breakfast after a morning run and really missed it when we were in lockdown. We were so impressed with the level of Covid compliance put in place. We sanitised our hands, we were asked to sign in and wear our masks to and from the table. The service was the usual level of politeness and friendliness. They never mind little changes to the menu and are happy to bring whatever you need. Thank you to the Zippola team for letting our Saturday morning tradition continue safely."

"I hate to leave a bad review, especially in a place that I've had good food from in the past. Maybe it's the industry wide lack of staff, but I can't accept service when we're left waiting without any kind of explanation of why we're waiting. Restaurant eating isn't about the food alone, I can cook just as well at home, its about the service and tonight that was lacking. Our waiter tried to keep it together, and was attentive as he could have been, but distracted by a couple of local regulars he took his eye off the ball and ignored everyone else. We're all waiting to be served, the regulars are taking selfies behind the counter. I absolutely can not accept bad service, it made me angry, and in the case of my friend vocally angry for which I apologise. As a note to the future, manage people's expectations. If you're busy, we get it. But don't allow regulars to make a joke about it whilst others are hungry. We won't ever be coming back, and we live 5 minutes away. I hope for your sake in the future you prioritise your customers over your friends."

"Worst experience yet!! I ordered a takeaway via Uber eats and requested for the food to be authentic Indian style. I received just under half filled containers and when I called to complain, the manager replied the reason for the very small potion of my food ie. Lamb Bhuna (authentically lamb in dry sauce) was because they would usually water the down for general customers but as we wanted the proper one we received much smaller potions and if we’re not happy then we don’t need to order again!!! The even bigger issue was that the food was also very badly cooked with a horrendous amounts of spice, even the popadoms were chewy. I did not receive any salad or sauces at all either!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!"

"Nice place to try. being a long-time customer I can say that located in a strategic point you can park outside after a certain time as there is a single yellow line or you can go a little further and park in a street called Church lane I think. The simple place as usual but that's enough to attract, I noticed some changes compared to the last time as the buffet before was in the center of the room and you could help yourself now I think for Covid-19 the situation has changed so everything comes to you served by the kitchen. The menu is practically not needed since the only reason to go there is the meat buffet as it is usually good, if you get familiar with the waiter even better. The bathrooms are located upstairs. The drink costs money but I think this is what the place brings. To try and see."

"Classy and welcoming-looking eaterie with plenty of kerb appeal and outdoor tables, this place definitely feels more restaurant/bistro than coffee shop and is maybe underselling themselves with the word café . Food was very well-presented, tasty, hot and flavoursome. Staff were pleasant and attentive and we were served quickly. It has a Mediterranean, slightly art deco feel to the interior design which I love, beautiful black granite/marble in the bathrooms and the outdoor rattan chairs were surprisingly comfortable thanks to the firmly padded cushions, so you don 't feel you want to leave quickly or suffer with the usual achy bum cheeks while shuffling from side to side. We had eggs benedict with smoked salmon, omelette with fries, caramel churros and chocolate fondant plus wine and beer for 3 people and spent little over £60 for a relaxing late lunch, which we felt was reasonable and definitely worth it for the quality and atmosphere. Would love to go back for a special occasion or evening."

"Went there after a long time and they have refurbished the restaurant and looks more on the modern side. They got rid of the rear carpark and created more seating area. Prices have gone up but ordered the Kervan Extra Special platter and the meat pieces definitely looked bigger in size compared to how I remember them to be when I last visited. The different meats on the platter were cooked spot on and tasted very good. The bulger rice and white rice were cooked well and the meat oils moistened and flavoured the rice nicely. Visited yesterday to celebrate my 3 year old nephews birthday and there were several more birthdays being celebrated. The staff brought out the cakes for everyone who were celebrating their birthdays and singing to the birthday person. It was a proper nice and lively atmosphere. Will always be going with the family whenever we want to eat out as it's one of our favourites."

"Don’t really want to leave a negative review, this is my local restaurant and we have been dining here for years. However, this isn’t the first time this has happened in the last few months. The pizzas are good although different from a few years back but service is so bad if you are dining. No welcome, you have to try and get someone’s attention to be served there doesn’t seem to be servers assigned to a section. I kept calling the guys in the yellow t shirt first so that someone could take our order then to order dessert waited 10 min). They have a strange system that the people in yellow t shirt have to ask the guys jn black shirts there were two of them in black shirts and they were far away. We ordered a chocolate fondant for dessert finally. I was told the wait would be 15 mins, I mentioned I had waited over 10 mins to be served and the server looked at me angrily said they were busy. No way was the restaurant at full capacity. I’ve been to Bella Italia at pre theatre times service has been friendly and efficient. It’s a shame, but pizzas are pricey £14 each) 4% service charge is added. In 90 mins we had just 2 pizzas and a dessert. Would have ordered a coffee but it seemed too much effort to order!! Btw I normally order a del Bosco pizza, ordered a patrizio this time, it was good but it wasn’t clear from the menu that it wouldn’t have any tomato sauce. Here some communication would have been good. I would suggest that they don’t take the bookings if they can’t cope."

"We booked our Christmas dinner here. It was expensive at £100 a head for the adults and £50 a head for my 6 yr old and for my under 2 yr old! So we had high hopes . Awful service, waiting almost an hour for our starters without an apology. We were offered “complimentary” hors d’oeuvres which were X2 leaves of a little gem lettuce with finely chopped feta, tomato and cucumber on between 5 of us!!! Eventually our underwhelming staters arrived followed by a dull main course. My mum’s meal was missing parsnip and cranberry sauce which the staff couldn’t care less about when I mentioned it to them. All in all the staff seemed unhappy to be there and their focus seemed to be on sending tray after tray of fancy looking hors d’oeuvres to a private party upstairs. It’s such a shame as were local and had it been a good day we would have returned annually as it is I would warn anyone off. Really overpriced and horribly disappointing, never again."
