"Wonderful food, kind and friendly service! We are staying at a local resort and tiring of the same limited menu each evening, we ventured out. This local steakhouse is amazing! The friendly staff welcomed us with smiles and warm greetings, Liza the server was very helpful as we chose our steaks and pasta, Daniel, the chef personally came to our table to help us understand which beef we should select (local Tuscany vs Ireland, Poland, New Zealand beef). We chose local Tuscany and he grilled it over a wood fire and personally delivered it to our table, all cut up for us. This kind, friendly service was a sharp contrast to our resort server who took a dislike to us because we requested a quiet table for our dinner. GO figure! We intend to return tonight for dinner again. Home made pasta, local Syrah wine for$6 per glass that was delicious and deserts for $5 (mousse, panna cotta, cheesecake). Don’t miss this local gem."

"We are so happy to be back n Italy and to come to our favorite family restaurant, La Tufa, in the charming village of Ossaia, Tuscany! The food is spectacular and the service is too. Very reasonable prices for the amount of food provided. Pumpkin ravioli, Minestrone soup, lamb, mixed grilled vegetables, greens, a mixed meat plate to die for , and great dessert of lemon sorbet."

"Riyoshi restaurant in Camucia was a complete joke again last night. We ordered starters as we have learnt not to order your complete meal as half the starters and half the mains arrive first, then part of the main and then you end up with your rice dish with soup…. No coordination or management . And they arrived together 1st time !! . They were busy and only one member of staff on tables. So we knew it wouldn’t be quick. Waited and waited. Eventually we rugby tackled a passing waiter and ordered a rice dish and a beef dish to share. He took the order but left the plates and dishes and walked off. We waited and after quite some time our rice dish arrived. The smell was unpleasant. We had to ask the waitress to clear the table and bring us 2 plates. Plates partially cleared, we asked where our beef dish was and off she went. Plates never arrived. We waited a further 5/6 minutes and tried the rice dish…. burnt. We tried for another 5 minutes to get attention. The beef dish never arrived nor the plates. We put on our coats and went to the front desk to tell them how disgusted we were. We told him our rice was burnt , now cold, no beef dish and no plates. He never offered an apology and presented us with a bill for he full amount ?? I refused to pay for the main and he called someone over manager ?? who told him to take the main off. Again no apology. We’ve been a number of times and it’s always the same chaos. They try to serve many people and the large volume of takeaway customers with 1/2 staff. It’s a complete joke and doesn’t deserve to be frequented. We have had a takeaway and similar things. Food items missing. It could really do with a few more staff and decent management rather than the poor team they have now."

"We were in Cortona for a week and frequented this bar on a few occasions. It’s on the main street and is a great place to wile away an hour or two people watching. The staff are really lovely. Friendly, accommodating, and the drinks are good too. The surprising thing here is how good the food is. Salads, pastas, even burgers and chips! The choice of bars here is considerable, but this was our favourite hands down."

"delicious dinner. we are marching to many places in toskana, but I have never eaten a risotto like they do in nesun dorma. delicious supper, pasta, filet with sweetness. they offered us Tuscan quinoy eating was fantastic. the next table they had. smeared with kartoffels, it looked famous and the customer really enjoyed it. very pleasant atmosphere, nice owners, pleasant and helpful staff overall it was a gourmet dinner with nice and smiling people. cortona is a wonderful place, we will come back to every case and I am very pleased to visit this restaurant again. thank you and greet you from Slovakia. grazie mille volte nessun dorma is fantastic. la prossima!"

"I visited this restaurant with my husband as it was close by. It’s situated in a small village and you enter the restaurant from the car park via the beautiful garden and lawn. We were shown into an area which was open but undercover. I ordered a starter of courgettes that were very thinly sliced and covered in an olive oil and balsamic vinegar and flavoured with thyme and basil. It was enormous but so good. My husband ordered the salad which again was substantial. We both ordered fillet steak, mine was with truffle and my husband’s came with a mustard and green pepper sauce. We weren’t asked how we’d like our steaks cooked but they came beautifully cooked and just how we like them. The vegetables were beautiful and we ate everything with gusto. Next came dessert and although I’m not a great lover of dessert I decided that I’d go for it and I’m so glad I did. I chose the meringue which was ice cream with white chocolate chips covered in crushed meringue and my husband chose the apple pastry which he said was delicious. This was all accompanied by a bottle of house white which was very drinkable. The bill was very reasonable and, as my husband absolutely loved this restaurant, he says we are definitely going back."

"We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids aged 9 and 5) spending two and a half weeks in Tuscany. We are staying near Cortona and researched places to go for dinner. Agrisalotto came highly rated. We liked the look of it due to its rural location, use of natural and locally sourced ingredients and it's track record. On arrival we were really impressed. The gardens are lovely with lots of open and safe space for children to explore. It even includes animals which our kids loved. We booked for 715 and were sat at a nice table very promptly. Our starters arrived on time, but then things started to unravel! It took more than 1 hour for our main to arrive after our starters were finished. When it did the dishes came out at different times. Side dishes didn't turn up. No explanation was given or apology. We had to complain. Eventually the mains arrived, but no side. The most disappointing aspect was that none of the staff seemed that bothered, If they had explained the situation then we would have been ok. We spoke to the manager and they acknowledged that the delays and lack of communication was unacceptable and offered a discount to the bill. But by then it was all too late. In summary this is a lovely restaurant in a stunning setting but the poor service and delays ruined it for us."

"We drove in one day after landing in Florence and had my first pasta dish at this restaurant as a part of our friends' wedding welcome dinner. The pici with mushrooms and boar set the bar high for the remainder of my time in Italy. The porchetta that followed was supreme. We were lucky enough to have a cooking class with the chef as well! There are other cute towns surrounding this area with great restaurants, but if you didn't want to venture far, you would not be missing out by dining here!"

"my man and I spent 3 nights in cortona ende juni. we had eaten 15 years ago in this same restaurant, among others management. I ordered capellacci with basilikum, cherry tomatoes and pine nuts...selected fresh. tomato with taste and pasta homemade. my side of caponata was like no one I had ever tasted. so mild and fresh and delicious. the greatest surprise was the dish of my man from black liver packed in cholic fat with lorberry leaf, shimmered in a super fragrant fennel sauce. when I tasted it, I closed my eyes and was transported back to the kitchen of my oma and wrapped their simple black liver with a rose leaf. the fennel sauce laid the court over the top. the prices were reasonable, with half carafe good weins under 10 euro. service was courteous and prompt, but we were not rushed in any wise. our table outside in a quiet street added the relaxed experience. when we return to cortona, I hope this little jewel is still there."
