"yesterday, during my stay at the lake, I had lunch from Latin coffee, restaurant bar located in the wonderful historical center of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy: the lake. simple, welcoming environment, which smells of past. beautiful terrace overlooking the lake: the scenery you admire is beautiful. staff of undisputed kindness and carinery: we had with us two bitches who were greeted with love, they brought them the bowl with water and also of the premiets: Thank you very much. impeccable service. the culinary proposals are typical of the lake and are all cooked as at home: intense scents, night marinades and (the most important ingredient as mom says) love! I started lunch with a perfect portion of hand-drawn pines at the lake ragù (luccio, eel and carp eggs): a dish so good, so delicious, so full of flavors that know of tradition I have not eaten it often: a masterpiece. each mouthpiece was a pleasure for the palate. I continued with what was appointed the winner dish of the lunch: Carpa queen in piglet: A dream! the touches of carp melt in the mouth like butter, not to mention the scent of the crust of aromas! What goodness. delicious also the pasted country herbs that have flanked the fish. we have concluded this unforgettable culinary experience with a basket of pastry stuffed with pastry cream and fresh fruit. nothing bad the white wine of the sparkling house that wet our palates. ridiculous prices considering the quality of the product offered. I'm so sorry."

"Osteria Calandrino Review English This was our third visit in as many weeks as we live 30 minutes away. Our friends Alessandra and partner Alessandro were very impressed by the excelllent local Umbrian wine Vermentino Poggio Bertaio 2016 recommended by efficient,amiable waiter Marco. Our friends had mussel cozze starters in a sauce they stated to be 'mouth watering while we had simple fresh mixed salads. As before the pasta was 'al dente ', so cooked to perfection by chef/patron Rosario,who takes pride in checking during the meal that we are satisfied. Twice we chose the lobster 1/2 lobster 'al astice ' with tagliolini pasta strips. This is a superb dish at a reasonable price. On the third occasion we had spaghetti allo scoglio which was an equally delicious seafood mixture with a great balance of prawn, mussels and just enough squid/octopus. Lobster is worth an advance order when booking over the phone to ensure availability but the seafood is an excellent alternative. Viola and Giovanna who also served us were attentive and helpful and ready to speak English if we had needed it. Der sehr angenehmer Kellner Marco hat uns ein perfekter Lokalwein zu ein guter Preis empfohlen Vermentino Poggio Bertaio 2016 .Dies ' haben wir sehr gut gefunden. Weitere Hilfe und Emfehlungen kamen von Giovanna und Viola. Der Servizio konnte nicht besser gewesen sein. Wenn Mann bestimmt Hummer essen will ist es besser ein Tag vorher dass am Telefon oder beim zu bestimmen. Wenn Hummer nicht zu haben ist, dann allo scoglio wird bestimmt auch überraschen. Bisjetzt ist Reservierung nicht immer nötig. Critique Francaise Le troisième fois dans ce Restaurant ou le chef patron,Rosario, prépare pasta al denté excellente avec Homard ou aux fruits de mers. Il ha vraiment sourit seulement après nos réponds de Superbe a imbattable . Le vin blanc .Vermentino Poggio Bertaio 2016 conseillé du amiable serveur Marco était un choix parfait a un bon prix. Les autres serveuses Viola e Giovanna ont aussi ajoutée de bonne recommendations pour commencer Moules dans une sauce spéciale jugés merveilleux à part de nos invités. Si on veut assurer que l 'homard est disponible, meilleure commander au temps de réservation. Mais aussi ne passer pas à côté de la pasta aux fruits de Mer. "We, four people, visited on a Saturday evening, two of us are vegan. We ordered the tasting menu of five courses, €30 (including cover charge); this includes a good choice of dishes. It is reasonably priced for the quality of food. The antipasto was varied, including vegetables in tempura, three different dips, houmous with a falafel, and crunchy seitan (I think) delicious and innovative creation. Primo: a velvety squash type soup with a scattering of nuts; followed by ravioli with tomato sauce and Secondo: aubergine with parmesan type cheese, excellent, and pickled vegetables. All very tasty and the portions manageable, although one of us would have appreciated some accompanying bread. Dolce: tiramisu all agreed that this is really good (better than traditional recipe), and the excellent ice cream was wittily presented with the cone upside down on top. We drank an Umbrian Lungarotti, white, delicious and well matched with the food; the craft beer, Flea, was good too. The service was fine, welcoming and informative although could have been more relaxed. The environment is bright, modern, lots of glass, with stylish bathroom and bar. The lighting was a little loud for an evening, but at least one could appreciate the presentation of the dishes! Next time, and we will be back, I'd choose fewer dishes to savour fully. This is because the tasting menu, although providing a showcase for their undoubtedly talented chef's range, is a bit rich overall, but, of course, this is just a matter of personal taste, However, this is a beautiful place, with great, imaginative food offered, which in some instances, betters the traditional non vegan recipe. I applaud the venture and hope that it is well supported."
