"We had heard very good things about Wang from friends and colleagues which did not quite match with the TA reviews. Thankfully our friends were certainly closer to the mark and I can safely say this was one of my best Chinese experiences, although it...should be noted we ate off the a la carte menu. We went as a group of 4 on a busy Saturday night and with the focus possibly being on topping up the buffet the service was a little slow to start with, however this was not a problem as it gave us time to choose. The rest of my group chose a set meal for 3 and I had a very impressive spicy beef dish which was tasty and a very generous portion. The soup starter and accompanying wine were also very good and overall the cost was very reasonable. Lots of room and some good views of the Altstadt made it a very enjoyable evening for us all. In summary we were all very impressed with Wang and will return soon!"

"Aufgrund der vielen sehr guten (na, ob die wohl alle "echt" sind ;-) ) Bewertungen hat es uns dann auch mal ins Lucky Garden verschlagen. Die Location war durch das ehemalige "Tokyo Running Sushi" wohlbekannt.Um es vorweg zu nehmen, schlecht bzw. ungenießbar war das Essen nicht. Das Ambiente wurde gründlich aufpoliert, sieht eigentlich ganz schick aus. Unsere Bestellung (2 x Buffet) wurde schnell aufgenommen. Zu dem Zeitpunkt waren ca. ein Drittel der Plätze belegt. Vorsichtshalber hatten wir einen Tisch reserviert, was sich aber als unnötig erwies.Das Buffet entspricht den bekannten Muster - daher der Titel. Es wird genau das verkauft, was sich der Deutsche unter chinesischen bzw. mongolischen Gerichten halt so vorstellt. Insgesamt alles ganz OK, ein richtiges Highlight war nicht dabei. Das Fleisch der frisch zubereiteten Gericht wurde größtenteils totgebraten, geschmacklich hats dann halt die Sauce bzw. eine große Portion Sambal Oelek herausgehauen.Ob wir wiederkommen - keine Ahnung. Mir fallen auf jeden Fall mehrere ähnliche Restaurants in Bielefeld ein, bei denen es mindestens genau so gut schmeckt oder gar besser. Für das Abendbuffet wurden 13,90 pro Person veranschlagt, mit einer Kinokarte vom Cinestar gibt es dann 2 Euro Ermäßigung. Mittwochs ist zudem Ladies-Night, d. h. Damen zahlen noch einmal 2 Euro weniger. 13,90 finde ich persönlich fürs Gebotene schon reichlich hoch angesetzt. Zum Abschluss hatten wir noch jeweils einen der hochgepriesenen Cocktails. Einen Long Island Ice Tea habe ich bestimmt schon 200 Mal getrunken - aber auch 200 Mal besser..."

"I was at the New Year's in the restaurant. The New Year menu has been equipped with a 7-course menu. Good and matching mix of dishes. Whether noodles, potatoes, vegetables, fish, steak or dessert. Everything was very deliciously prepared. Opticious and also tastefully very well met. Thanks to the live music and the piano player, the already pleasant atmosphere seemed a bit great. Very nice and professional staff. Conclusion: A restaurant that is not yet very popular in Bielefeld. The restaurant, the environment and above all the quality of food really speak for themselves. definitely recommended!!!"

"We have lived in Bielefeld for 3 years now. My wife and I often arrange to meet in town for lunch on a Friday. Where should we go today? After a bit of head scratching and a few half hearted suggestions, we invariably end up...at Kachelhaus. In the Altstatdt, you can 't miss it on a corner next to the Johannesburg Albrecht Brauhaus. The outside is dressed with wonderful old green tiles (Kachel), from Meissen. Inside is roomy but always cozy, with a real buzz. Plenty of flammpizza, flamkuchen, schnitzel, pasta and the dish of the day is generally very good. Only thing I wouldn 't recommend is the beef burger: the burger was not pure meat but mixed with something to pad it out, but this was the only poor choice out of many. Try the Sunday brunch which is also very good."

"after the forced renovation by the fire damage ferdis pizzapinte has now opened again. in large and whole has not changed much. by the new paint it has become a bit brighter overall. the card is almost unchanged and consists of a series of petty, salads pizzen and a few bigger dressed, partly Asian (curry). in the afternoon the pizza dough was obviously so hard that the attempt to eat with knife and fork was quickly abandoned. the olives and peperoni could not hide their "supermarktursprung a la dittmann’s etc". very tasty, however, was still the tsatsiki! from the fass there are 3 beer varieties. including the local Rotingdorfer and the delicious guinness. wine selection is limited otherwise usual drink card. both services were very attentive and nice. This traditional student local will certainly last a long time."

"Der Abend im nonna’s war in sämtlichen Bereichen perfekt! Das Hausbrot und v.a. die Thunfischpaste sowie Aioli waren unglaublich lecker und habe ich auf Nachfrage mit nach Hause nehmen dürfen. Die Pizza war sehr lecker (leckerer Teig und gute Tomatensauce). Das Getränk war super. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm. Stilvoll, modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein besonderes Lob geht an den Service. Wir haben recht spontan einen sehr guten Platz bekommen, die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Da gibt man gerne Trinkgeld! Absolute Weiterempfehlung, wir kommen sehr gerne bald wieder!"

"Uns wurde zwar direkt nach der Bestellung gesagt, dass es mit dem Essen eine halbe Stunde dauert, aber nachdem wir nach 45 min nachgefragt haben hieß es, es könne ja gar nicht sein, dass schon so viel Zeit vergangen sei (diese Aussage wurde auch vor anderen Gästen gemacht, die sagten ihr Essen wäre nach 30 min noch nicht da). Das Essen sollte in 5 min kommen. 15 min nach dieser Ankündigung kam das Essen dann. Uns wurden aufgrund der langen Dauer Freigetränke angeboten und mein Freund dachte, das Getränk, das er 2 min zuvor bestellt hatte, wäre sein Freigetränk, aber dem war leider nicht so. Mein „Freigetränk“, das ich etwa 5 min nach dem Angebot bestellt hatte, landete ebenfalls auf der Rechnung und ich hatte absolut keine Lust deshalb zu diskutieren. Insgesamt eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung."

"Wir haben 2× Bifteki Pita bestellt. Das erste Mal waren die Biftekis Innen noch roh. Zumal es vlt Frikadellen oder Köfte waren, aber Biftekis waren es definitiv nicht. Das zweite mal haben wir angeschnittene Biftekis gekriegt. Sie waren zwar länger auf dem Grill aber keiner konnte uns sagen ob die Biftekis durchgegrillt waren oder nicht. Als Ersatz kam eine Portion Gyros zu den Bifteki Pitas. Das konnte aber das ganze auch nicht retten. Zu den Bifteki Pitas hatten wir Oliven, Peperonis und Pommes bestellt. Neben diesen Beilagen war die Bedienung der einzige Lichtblick. 5 verdiente Sterne gehen an die Bedienung raus!!!! Super höflich, freundlich und seriös!!! Ein Imbiss bleibt ein Imbiss. Eine Empfehlung zum sitzen gibt's nicht. Trotz gut eingerichteter Sitzgelegenheiten war es eiskalt. Nach einer halben Stunde sitzen hat unsere Kleidung nach dem verbrannten Grill gerochen (nicht gegrilltes Fleisch). Nur eine Wäsche und eine Dusche kriegt diesen beisenden Geruch noch raus. Bezahlt haben wir 30€. Sehr, sehr schade um das Geld und die verlorene Zeit sowie unsere stinkende Kleidung. Geschmeckt hat es nicht."

"Yesterday I went to the Block House in Bielefeld with my partner for the first time and it was a great experience that we would like to repeat. *The table reservation over the phone was great. Mr. Schulze was polite, humorous and conducted the conversation very pleasantly. Despite the spontaneous reservation, it was possible to reserve 1.5 hours in advance. *We still had a few table choices on site and opted for a small niche. It had an American feel to it, which I really liked. *Our waiter Tony introduced himself (I only know him from America , which I found very pleasant. Apart from the fact that he talks very quickly and mumbles (which is why we had to ask more often , we felt like we were in good hands with him. If he calms down a bit when speaking, then it's perfect. ; *We ordered the New York Burger (which is served without the bun lid with fries and linguine with turkey breast. My friend thought his burger was very tasty (and was full without having to eat the fries. So he didn't need the burger lid at all and I also enjoyed my noodles (which, by the way, I had already eaten the day before at the Block House in Hanover and found it to be good . The turkey breast was a bit dry, which is why I'll stick with the vegetarian version next time. *Overall I really liked the atmosphere. It was interesting to watch how the service staff supported the chef wherever they could (salting, brushing the meat for the finishing touches . The open kitchen inspires great confidence. I don't know what role the man in the suit had (maybe the boss/manager? , but he brought us our drinks and even escorted us out the door like a cavalier at the end. "Wok'n Kebup ist für uns der Lieferdienst Nr. 1 in Bielefeld! Was wir auch jemals bestellt haben, es ist stets köstlich und sehr gut verpackt und die Fahrer sind super freundlich. Egal ob Döner, Pizza oder Asiatisch, wir wurden nie (NIE!! enttäuscht. Wir empfehlen Wok'n Kebup im Freundeskreis immer weiter und bestellen immer dort, wenn wir in Bielefeld sind. Und da wäre ein kleiner Wermutstropfen (ohne Punkteabzug, da völlig verständlich : seit wir aus Bielefeld weggezogen sind, wohnen wir außerhalb des Lieferradius'. Aber wenn wir in Bielefeld sind... siehe oben! Wir haben auch einmal vor Ort gegessen und fanden es auch super, allerdings ist das Ambiente nicht mega gemütlich, man verweilt nicht länger als nötig. Aber alles war sauber und die Musik war nicht zu laut, und auch die Toiletten waren top!"
