"The Rose Crown are under new management, namely Ali and Ross. They have a strong pub and hospitality pedigree, most recently coming from The Stag at Mentmore, and successfully developing other people 's business and brand. It is now their turn, to do it for themselves. They are 3 months in, the Lease sign is down and they have already welcomed a strong set of regulars, nurtured a great group of young staff, provided a great xmas menu, setup super breakfasts, had specialist evenings, wakes, dancing; soon to be adding a great menu Burns evening and a Valentines do. They are mindful of the market they 're in, the importance of 'the local ' and providing the correct atmosphere, staff and entertainment. Personally, they look after me, my table of 12 cousins and have been great for my young daughter who works there, in her first job. They are striving for pub perfection and I commend them on their first 3 months and wish them well for their special journey for their customers. Also dog friendly!
