"Were there for the first time for lunch but not for the last. Very traditional restaurant with great terrace and nice views to the lake. All the food was fresh, tasty and high quality most of all the restaurant is no mass processing. The food needs a while and will not served within two minutes. There you can spend a cozy time without stress.Service was friendly, quick and attentive too although the house was busy. Get value for money!Definitely we will be back."

Manuel is a marvelous server. He was charming and delightful. The food at Hofhaus is by far some of the best we had in all of Germany. We went back twice it was so outstanding. I wish I could be there now.

The place is so attractive that returning was not difficult. Unfortunately the Fish-duet could be less cooked and tastier. Very good radish soup and excellent "Leberspätz" soup. Don't miss the Kaiserschmarren...

Such good food and service (thank you Elena) that we (6 friends) came back twice in a week. The English translations of the menu are worth visiting for, but the quality and quantity of the food will bring you back anyway as it is the best in Schliersee.

Although this restaurant specialises in (fresh water) fish, we all chose different meat dishes. The beef steak was excellent as was the pork. All meals were large servings and were very good valueThe service was very good and friendly without being obtrusive. Our waitress spoke a little English and with our little German we got through well. They do have an English menu.

We had dinner here twice during our stay in Schliersee, and we weren't disappointed.The pork knuckle was very tender with crispy skin, delicious. We also had the roast duck & salmon, both were fantastic, so tender and very tasty. Great atmosphere, overlooking the lake, service was terrific and the prices very reasonable. Would go back again ! Dinner for 2 plus 1 beer and wine was 50Euro, very reasonable.
