the service: has space for improvements. the waiter obviously had more important things in the sense than his customers. first he didn't even bring us.

Had the local maultaschen dish. Very tasty and the cheapest real dish on the menu. Person on next table had the freshen dish which looked wonderful. Next time!!

we had lunch and our party agreed that it was delicious. the clearly used dishes make rich, which added to the fresh and taste. it was very busy while we were there, but the service was excellent. the bill was very reasonable... Voir le carte

enjoy an early dinner here it was delicious, served well and friendly staff. would definitely be worth good again. very busy at lunchtime when my man went back while I was at a conference and just managed to find a place! big homemade suppen and pasta.

Dined here with colleagues in mid-July after other options closer to the lake didn't offer the facility to pay by credit card. Myself and two other colleagues all ordered the rump steak with fried onions and fries which we all enjoyed. For dessert I enjoyed...bourbon vanilla ice cream which came with a separate jar of warm chocolate sauce. Service was standard but the place was very busy (always a good sign). Prices for both food and drink were reasonable.

the hotel is located in front of the most beautiful (Catholic church.) easy to find. please reserve the table if you want to come here more than 2 persons at the weekend. they have 2 rooms, front is more for group or reservation and other rooms on the back have...6 tables only. their foods are delicious. the price is average for German territory. the service is also good (friendly and very polite.) they do not speak really English. so it is better if they speak a little German: Voir le carte

I visited richau with my family: my children wanted ice creams, I thought of a cappuccino and a coffe and my wife to an orange juice. unfortunately we couldn't. we sat right next to the main entrance and after 15/20 minutes no one...comes many paintings we call the waiters on cleaning the table and ordered, but nothing. they were 3 waiters on 15 tables. Anyway, my children were disappointed because they wanted the ice creams and a 3 year old mange is not easy. after 25 minutes we went to another restaurant. bad experience.

We stumbled into this local restaurant after visiting the Church of St. Maria and Markus and the harbour. We decided to have lunch here since it exclusively serves regional cuisine of Lake Constance. My boyfriend had “Maultaschen” (ravioli) while I decided to try the local...fish, “Hecht“ (pike).Both dishes were very delicious. Unfortunately I couldn’t fully enjoy my dish; while the fillets were amazingly fresh and flavourful, they were full with bones. I wished the waiter could have told me about this as I never had pike before and I found out later that pike fillets tend to have bones. We had a look at the menu in the morning and someone doing the cleaning took the trouble to come out and ask if they could help. This high level of service continued all evening. We were very pleased with the good number of choices...on the menu, fish, meat etc and the quality was very good. I was particularly pleased to see quite a large number of wines available by the glass at reasonable prices so we had quite a selection between us and tried several of the wines made on the island. The main, front, part of the restaurant is not very big and although there are tables at the back, and outside weather permitting, I would suggest reserving.
