This Restaurant is a must every time I visit Dortmund brilliant Salzkuchen, generous portions, fresh cracking beer, nice outdoors and fast service. Can highly recommend a visit there.

after we sang at the home play hoarse, this was the perfect place to buy beer and eat after the game. good choice of the beer and the plate for the people was massive! bring your appetit.

The restaurant is fantastic both with its food and beer, but also with the typical German atmosphere inside. It is marvelously decorated, too. Difficult to find seats without a reservation.

was here several times and would come back again and again. if they do not have a reservation, they simply stand at the bar and wait. that is worth it. traditional eating from westfalia we had green cabbage, liver and carving.

I was in this restaurant for my trip to theremund and I love it. the restaurant has a location that is easy to find. the personal is nice and can speak fluent English. the food is sent. the beer is perfect and. it's not full since I've been here by midday. a huge recommandation.

We were a large group visiting Dortmund and we had our lunch here, the brewery Schnitzel that many of us had was very ordinary many complained that the meat was tough. those who has the Goulash said they enjoyed it. Others had various dishes but...overall the consensus was we have all had better meals elsewhere.

authentic german brewhouse, with service (a little intermittent) to fit. good selection of standard items (carvings/steaks), but also some good local options. I had an excellent cauliflower suppe and a pepper carpet stew, served with potatoes and broth. Fortunately, it was quite quiet when I left. but I think it might be quite busy here on the marketplace.

I found a piece of glass in my mound while eating the food. It totally scattered in my mouth an when i took it out of my mouth, there was still a piece of cm left. When i told the staff, they didn't even...asked how i was doing, and only cared about the bill. They where determined to let us pay as much as possible, and acted like this happens every day They even wanted me to pay the toilet to wash the glass out of my mouth. In the end i told the staff i didn't want to pay my food and they acted very agressive and unfriendly Service before i found the glass wass poor, they acted really hurried, and my food was soaked in oil. I would not recommend this place.

Very cute restaurant. Since it is Christmas time there was plenty of decorations and the moose on the wall had a Christmas hat on. It was warm and cozy and that perfect busy friendly vibe. Our server was very friendly and made sure we got...a table -as it was very busy when we came in. Our food was delicious and there were some winter specials on- even though I was with a local, they did have English menus that made it very easy. I had duck leg with potato dumplings and red cabbage. Some of my favorite things!
