Zizzi - Glasgow West End

Relaxed, friendly service. No overly fancy menu but tasty and reasonable price

A fantastic branch of Zizzi. Sat outside in the warm sunshine (Yes, really). Food was great and service excellent.

SHOCKING! I had to award one star to get to this point, I actually never experienced the restaurant as they claimed they hadn’t received my booking via this app despite acknowledging that it had been made, so I don’t actually award them any stars! They offered us a minimum half hour wait for a table and no apology! We went to Cafe Andaluz next door and spent our £150 there, they were very nice and very accommodating, more than could be said for the restaurant we’d actually booked! Cafe Andaluz rescued our son’s 15th birthday meal, a massive thanks to them. Not a great experience of either Opentable or ZIzzi’s Glasgow West end.

Food was very good but service was pretty average. We booked through open table app but staff didn’t seem to have any records of booking. We were sat at a table but although there were 4 of us we only had cutlery for 3 people. Food was served pretty quickly but when it came to getting the desserts for the children, again no cutlery came with that so they had to improvise and eat ice cream with a fork! As for the bill, the waiter couldn’t deal with basic arithmetics to divide it into 2 halves! Shame, as food was of a good standard but service was not up to scratch and Nobody seemed to b in charge.
