"We visited this restaurant on a trip to Durham for the Lumiere festival. We were very pleased that we had booked, as the restaurant was packed and the staff had to turn people without bookings away while we were there. Despite it being at such a busy time, the service was very prompt, helpful and friendly, the food tasty and well presented and we very much enjoyed our meal. We would recommend it as a place to dine. Being right in the centre of Durham, it is very conveniently located."

With only a couple of good Italian restaurants in Durham (Bistro Italiano, Capriccio), this place falls short compared to the others.

I think the food was overpriced for what it is was. I waited a very long time for my main course after my starter. Almost and hour. I was not impressed however the waitress was very nice

We enjoyed a tasty meal with friendly and attentive servers. The only downside was being seated close to the kitchen, which slightly impacted the atmosphere, but it wasn't a big concern. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant.

Really enjoyable meal with 3 generations being catered for. My Mum has difficulty walking and we were moved with no hassle to an upstairs table when we requested not to be downstairs. Friendly service and especially accommodating to the children

The dining experience was excellent with a wide variety of choices, including a separate menu for vegans. The vegan options were delicious, and the staff was friendly and provided good service. While the overall experience was enjoyable and the value was good, there was nothing particularly exceptional about the meal.

Avoid this place at all costs! I had to give at least 1 star to leave a review, but my experience was so terrible that we ended up leaving without even eating. The woman at the front reception was disgustingly rude, aggressive, sarcastic, and behaved like a bully towards us. It's unfortunate because we had been loyal customers for a long time before this incident. It's amazing how one bad employee can spoil the entire dining experience.
