"I made a booking for myself and my two elderly parents at a restaurant on an early Saturday evening. I was hesitant about taking a break from our usual routine. The restaurant initially mentioned that Toptable bookings don't always reach them. We were seated in a cramped area next to a large group of twenty people directly under an air conditioning vent, making it both the noisiest and the coldest spot in the restaurant. The starters were standard antipasti and olives. The main courses varied in quality, with one of the pasta dishes lacking in taste. My pizza, which was supposed to be the spiciest on the menu, was disappointingly lacking in spice, despite my efforts to add extra chili oil and black pepper. The service was inconsistent, and overall, I would not choose to dine at this restaurant again."

Zizzi's on Friar Gate, Derby ... The meal itself was good. I think the service could have been a bit better but those who did serve us were really nice and attentative.

Our experience at this restaurant was not great due to the extremely rude hostess. Despite this, our waitress was friendly and accommodating. The food was overpriced for the portion size we received.

It's a zizzi. I've always been a fan of Zizzi, and that was no exception. In the restaurant heavy area of Derby it had a fairly romantic air, with friendly staff, and a good pizza to finish the evening.
