"Zizzi in Derby is a fine epitome of how a chain-belonging restaurant can be marvellously chic and provide very high quality food. My seafood pasta was good, maybe lacking a little punch, but that's the subtleness of seafood. We also had a half-and-half Rustica pizza which was not only varied and delicious but huge! The interior it the best part, with young talent's murals on the walls, tastefully placed pasta jars here and there, spacious table outset and laid back yet-romantic atmosphere."

We ate at Zizzi in Derby yesterday and had a great time. The food was very good and the staff were very friendly. We would definitely go back again!

Zizzi Derby atmosphere was good for a Monday evening, but service disappointingly slow and starters were cold. I've had much better meals at Zizzis but this one was a bit of a flop!

It's a Zizzi restaurant. I've always enjoyed dining at Zizzi, and this visit was no exception. Located in the heart of Derby, the ambiance was quite romantic, complemented by friendly staff and a delicious pizza that perfectly capped off the evening. Voir le carte

The quality of our meals was inconsistent; one of the two pasta dishes we ordered was completely flavorless. My own choice, touted as the "hottest pizza on the menu," was disappointingly minimal, lacking flavor and clearly suffering from extreme cost-cutting measures. Despite trying to liven it up with generous amounts of chili oil and black pepper, it still fell flat. Service varied throughout the evening, and unfortunately, I would not choose to return to this restaurant.

Another night, another Zizzi's and this time in Derby. To my surprise the decor was looking very tired, with paint peeling off the wall heading up the stairs to the bathroom, a general lack of art on the walls compared to other branches which didn't help with the restaurant being cold to the point I wore my jacket through dinner. The food was good as is normally the case with Zizzi though the serving staff seemed a little chaotic and rather resembled the Michel Roux’s Service trainees.
